Her face flushed with embarrassment, and she nodded fervently, attempting to conceal her emotions. This worked to her advantage as you patted her back before returning to your seat beside Bada.

The time for no-respect battles had arrived, leaving you with just one sticker and a sense of curiosity about who you'd choose as your opponent. The prospect of engaging in two battles hardly fazed you; in fact, you wished for more challenges. The fact that you only had one sticker, despite some teams undermining your crew, brought a smirk to Bada's lips.

"They're probably afraid of you," Bada commented, rubbing your shoulder, to which you responded with a confident smirk. "If they aren't, I can give them something to be afraid of," you declared, eliciting a laugh from Bada, who was clearly amused by your boldness.

Sitting beside you, Tatter observed the exchange, her emotions in a whirlwind as she witnessed your self-assured demeanor. Your smirk seemed to exude a predatory hunger, and it left her feeling a certain kind of way.

Bada had been the first to battle on your team against 1Million's Ready, setting a victorious tone for the day. The win was a source of motivation for the rest of the crew.

After several more battles, Cera was called onto the stage. She grinned and confidently made her way toward your crew, singling you out. "Y/n, let's dance."

Your crew started hyping you up, and you nodded at Mannequeen's youngest. Your heart raced, aware that Cera excelled in battles and unsure why she had chosen you. Your skill sets were entirely different, creating a buzz of anticipation throughout the studio. 

"Cera, why have you picked Bebe's Y/n as your no-respect dancer?" someone from the audience inquired. "I wanna see something new from her," Cera replied with a hint of challenge. "Feels like her style's a bit stale now."

You chuckled lightly. "Let me show you how I dance," you responded nonchalantly, earning admiration from those watching. "I should've bought wedding rings today, one for Bada and one for Y/n," JJ quipped, eliciting laughter from her team. "I'm kind of excited to see what she's gonna show," Minny whispered, pointing at you.

Cera initiated her performance with her iconic slow walk, incorporating her well-known movements. Her impeccable balance on one leg, expressive facial gestures, and powerful arm movements were all familiar, but the audience never grew tired of witnessing her art. As she drew nearer, her perfectly manicured finger traced your jawline, provoking a smirk in response to her gentle touch. Tatter watched, her blood boiling at the sight of this coquettish connection between you and Cera, despite this being your first time performing together.

Tatter couldn't decide if it was the way you stood there, captivating the crowd, or if it was all thanks to Cera's charm that made her uncomfortable. 

Regardless, she didn't like it one bit.

"Chill out," Bada whispered to Tatter, noticing her clenched fist and reddening knuckles. She had been aware of Tatter's crush on you, but this level of jealousy was a new and concerning development. Bada wasn't sure if these feelings could potentially interfere with Tatter's mindset during the competition. “I am, unnie. Don’t worry.”

As they chatted, your turn was about to begin, and they heard ‘Run the World (Girls)’ by Beyonce blaring on the speakers. The song begins at the pre-chorus, and a sly grin takes over as you sway your body to the music.

You begin by pointing at yourself and slowly raise your leg, mimicking Cera’s move perfectly. You follow up with a double Tour en l'Air and hit a fan kick right before the chorus hits. Tatter’s jaw drops at your insane flexibility since she had only seen you do kpop.

Your style switches to step dance as the drums become faster, and everyone's eyes widen.

The loud stomps, claps, and shuffles were heard even with the loud music, proving your strength on the stage. Everyone stares at you, never looking away, as you end the dance by mimicking the lyrics, ‘Who run the world? G-G-Girls!’ with a harsh salute thrown nonchalantly. Screams are heard from around, and you bow with tense shoulders, waiting for the judge's deliberation.

As soon as you spot the three light blue cards, you release the most relieved sigh you've had in a while, drowning in the ecstatic cheers from your Bebe crew members. Amid the celebration, Tatter rushes to you, wrapping you in a bone-crushing hug, her face nestled against your upper back, evoking a smile from you.

"We were well aware of Cera's battling prowess, but Y/n, you surprised us all," Mike Song remarks, seamlessly switching to English, earning nods from the other two judges. "Step dance is a rarity in Korea even if it is a competitive dance style, and witnessing it today felt like a breath of fresh air," Shownu adds, reflecting the unanimous sentiment in the studio. 

"Y/n, you've shown that your style is anything but stale. It was like a revitalizing force on that stage, powerful and heavy yet refreshing," Monika praises you, prompting multiple bows from you and applause from the audience. "You totally killed it, unnie!" the sub-leader exclaims, her excitement evident as she shakes your arm. You respond with a grateful laugh, and Tatter, standing by your side, can't help but smile, recognizing the new side of yourself you've revealed to them.

You looked like you truly loved dancing.

"You were a monster out there, unnie," Tatter whispers in your ear, her voice filled with awe. You turn to her, taken aback by her bold action and compliment. Your warm smile never fades, and you casually drape your arm over her shoulders, pulling her closer. "Thanks, Tata," you reply, giving her a squeeze on the shoulder. Her face lights up with a blush, pleasantly surprised to hear her nickname from you for the first time.

In the days that followed, your focus shifted to preparing for the kpop mission. Inspired by Bada's triumph in the class mission, the crew's momentum felt unstoppable. On this particular day, the team was hard at work, rehearsing without Bada, who had laid out the dance's framework but left a few details for you to fill in. It appeared that Lusher wasn't at her best today, so you stepped up to assist her in leading the practice.

"Lush, we've got to maintain the pacing and smooth out the transition," you assert, addressing her while also ensuring the rest of the girls hear your guidance. The group makes another attempt, but the coordination is still off. Dancers collide, and a sigh escapes your lips, wearied by the struggle.

"Should I step in for Bada unnie's position while we work through this?" you suggest to the sub-leader, who nods, visibly relieved to have your guidance in this moment of uncertainty.

You counted everyone in and did the Maniac portion of the dance, nailing it more with the sound of the numbers leaving your lips. As you end, you clap, feeling happy once you all have it down. So when Bada came in, and you showed her the dance, she was grateful to see the amazing progress.

“Y/n-ah, can you watch over here with me? I want to see what you think of the first part of Not Shy,” you nod, immediately standing beside her. Bada counts the girls in, and as you try to watch everyone, you find yourself staring at the blond dancer, her confidence never hesitating as she did each move. “So what do you think?” Bada snaps you out of your thoughts.

“We should go a bit harder here,” you say, demonstrating what you’d like to see. “I agree. Let’s fix it up then?” Everyone nods at their leader, as you all kept practicing.

As the moment to showcase the 30-second choreography arrived, a wave of nervousness washed over the younger members. Tsubakill's performance had just concluded, and its strength was undeniable. You couldn't help but acknowledge that it would be a formidable challenge.

When it was Bebe’s turn, everyone was pleased to see the movement, even in awe at the imitation of double doors. It was safe to say you guys secured your place for the JYP battle, but that wasn’t the most frustrating part to come.

During each team’s copy section presentation, you were worried. As your crew added a flip, Tsubakill did as well, and Yumeri was surely confident when doing so. You knew you could’ve done the stunts yourself if needed, but you wanted the other girls to shine. So Tatter was given the hard challenge.

Practice seemed to be going well for you all, but everything began to crumble when it was time to film. As Tatter tries hitting the first flip, she stumbles, even kicking Lusher a little, and it takes every fiber in your body to keep going. Then the second flip comes, and she fails again, her depressed face more evident. Other crews did their best to cheer the girl on, which worked, as you could all finish.

From across the stage, you hurried to reach the girl, gently placing your hands on her shoulders. "Are you okay?" you inquired, concern lacing your voice. She nodded, determined to hold back her tears, and you pulled her into a comforting hug. Having experienced self-disappointment yourself, you knew how painful it could be. "It's okay. You did great, Tata," you assured her, rubbing her back in an attempt to soothe her, and it seemed to work, at least momentarily.

As you all took your seats, Tatter sat beside you, head bowed in dejection. Your heart ached at the sight, and you couldn't resist holding her hand, offering silent support. Another hug followed, no words spoken, just the comforting warmth of your embrace and the reassuring patting of her head. She relaxed in response to your touch, leaning in to wrap her arms around your waist and bury her face in your neck.

Your heart raced at the intimacy of the moment, feeling her breath brush against your neck. You tried to push aside the swirling thoughts, knowing that now wasn't the right time, but the connection between you and Tatter had become impossible to ignore.

Tatter had struggled with her stunts, and although you wanted to assist, you were already occupied, helping the two youngest members of the crew. "Do you plan to stay?" Bada inquired gently, directing your attention to Tatter, who nodded in response.

"Don't overexert yourself, Taeyoung. You'll do good on stage," Bada assured her, patting her back as if suggesting she should head home instead.

"I'll stay with her, unnie," you asserted, placing your belongings back on the floor. Tatter looked at you, a touch of confusion in her eyes, while Bada regarded you with a questioning gaze. "Are you sure? It's already 1 a.m., Y/n."

"I'll make sure she doesn't push herself too hard. I've got it," you reassured the older dancer, and she nodded, placing her trust in you. Once Bada left the room, a quiet atmosphere enveloped the two of you. Tatter appeared somewhat reluctant to begin, but you gently encouraged her, saying, "Come on, let me assist you so I can get you home for some much-needed rest."

You laid out a soft mat in the center for a cushion, patting your hand down on it. "Give it a shot and show me what you've got at the moment," you encouraged. Tatter reluctantly accepted her current limitations and made another attempt at the stunt, but her balance wavered, causing her to fall.

"Try putting more energy into the initial walk. The momentum will carry you through the flip," you suggested. She followed your advice, managing to execute the move, although it appeared somewhat messy at this stage. Without a word, you stepped in, gently taking her arms and guiding her back into the headstand, using your hands to steady her at the waist.

Tatter's cheeks flushed a deep shade of crimson, and it wasn't solely due to the strenuous stunts she had been attempting. No, it was your gentle touch on her exposed skin that sent her heart racing. "You should focus on maintaining a better balance on your head and engaging your core muscles more," you advised her, your fingertips lightly tracing the contours of her abdomen. 

She made an effort to follow your guidance, and for a moment, it appeared as though she had improved. However, when you attempted to release your support, she stumbled once more, this time toppling directly onto you.

In an attempt to prevent her from further harm, you swiftly maneuvered your right arm beneath her head. Tatter had her eyes tightly shut, bracing herself for potential pain. But when it didn't come, she cautiously opened her eyes to the sight of you, hovering protectively above her. Your gaze bore a deep concern as you leaned closer, gently moving her blonde strands out of the way.

The room was shrouded in silence, and you couldn't help but wonder why the girl couldn't meet your eyes. Then, the realization struck you—your current position left you both in a somewhat awkward situation, causing a momentary freeze. Tatter, however, slowly fluttered her eyes open, doing her best to appear composed, and you couldn't help but find her stunning. Her golden hair sprawled across the floor, a delicate blush gracing her cheeks, and her lips parted slightly as she caught her breath. You found it difficult to maintain eye contact at that moment, only regaining some semblance of composure when she whispered your name, "Unnie?"

You could almost hear yourself gulping at the whispered tone, meeting her gaze again. “Yes?”

“Thanks for staying with me.” She says, delicately pulling you into a hug, which causes your body to weigh down on hers.

Your mind was now in a frenzy at the close contact, feeling her body on yours. Trying to recover, you stand up quickly, shaking away the feelings. Your arm reaches down, and Tatter gladly accepts the help with a smile, “Come on, you’ll get this down.”

Tatter then does the part again, taking your advice, and lands the headstand and follows it up with the next move. Your eyes widened as she got it down quickly, excitedly clapping for her. She goes in for another hug, which you gladly reciprocate with a chuckle, “I’m proud of you,” you mumble, and Tatter hears the pure, genuine feeling in your voice. “Let’s go now?” You ask her, and she nods.

It had been two days after that night, finally being performance day, but you couldn’t shake away the thoughts of Tatter in your mind. It got you anxious to even step up on stage, but luckily, Tsubakill was first, so you had time to gather yourself together.

You had decided to make a bold choice. Always being known for your long-sleeved shirts, you tried something different, sporting a white sleeveless crop top instead. Specifically choosing it for one particular scene – when Lusher was in front, and we had to lift her shirt with our mouths.

Your eyes meet Tatter’s figure as she stretches and you make your way over to her. “Feeling good today?” You ask, but when she looks up, her jaw almost drops seeing you in the unfamiliar attire. You always opted to wear anything that hid your tattoos as they were a bit large, so when she sees you, her face goes red as usual. Tatter’s vision falls to the flower tattoo you had, that seems to settle on your underboob and it cascaded down to your hip. then and there, she just found you ten times hotter in the moment. “Um, Y- yeah. I feel good today.”

Definitely more than good, but moving on.

The crew watched Tsubakill go first backstage, and it made you all nervous to see them do so well, getting insane reactions from the crowd as well. You had to shake the feeling away when it was your turn to head up.

You took the center position with Minah by your side as you two laughed manically, the acting being on point, as you can see Monika being thoroughly impressed. The moment of truth came when Lusher took center stage, and the crew began to lift her shirt. You watch everyone’s eyes widen when sheathing the large ink on your chest, and with Tatter behind you, she also sees the spinal tattoo.

Were you just planning on hiding your tatted self from the world? That was all she could think of, but she had to continue the dance.

Sowoen nodded. One more time couldn’t hurt, she thought to herself. 

It was nearly 3 am at the dance studio. Other than Bada and Taeyoung, the other Bebe members had long since trickled their way out. Finish memorizing the dance for their upcoming mission. For some reason, though, Sowoen just could not get the moves down. She had been at it for hours, standing in front of the mirror, the same song replaying time after time. Previously, the other members were by her side, explaining the steps one by one to her. However, she just couldn’t get it. 

She couldn’t put her finger on it. It was like she wasn’t in control of her body. 

Only when all the other members had left was the issue more apparent to Sowoen. When she got to the practice room today, she noticed a strange scent in the air but decided to ignore it. Nobody else seemed to have noticed it, so she assumed she was just imagining things. 

When it went down to just the three of them, it became apparent the smell was Taeyoung. And it had only grown stronger. Sowoen didn’t understand why the scent of citrus exuding from her had only now started to disrupt her focus. This is how Taeyoung always smelt. She's sure of it. After all, it was her favorite scent out of the omegas in the group. 

Whatever was up with her, she had to ignore it, and she couldn’t let her group down just because she was having an off day. 

Bada had seen the frustration and anger coming from the maknae. She knew she was trying her best, doing the best she could. That’s why she said nothing when the other Bebe members bid her goodbye, asking her when she was leaving. Opting to stay with the maknae instead. Bada knows how upsetting and lonely it can feel in the practice room late at night, and she didn’t want that for Sowoen.

And as Taeyoung was practically a second leader to Bada, she had decided to stay with the maknae as well. Standing by her side, doing the movements with her, over and over. Still, somehow, despite how exhaustion and tiredness of 3 am hours had rolled around, Taeyong had been the one to lighten the mood for the three. Still managed to crack some jokes here and there. 

It did seem like Sowoen's hard work was starting to pay off. Perhaps it was the pressure of knowing that her unnies wouldn’t leave unless she had gotten the moves down. As the hours went by, the moves had started to click with her. 

So here they were. Still stood by Soewon's side for the past few hours.

Bada looked down at her phone, where the song they had been practicing for the past few hours had been queued up time and time again. She pressed play on the song at let the music ring out for the nth time that night. 

Sowoens got it; she nodded to herself. Parts where she had previously faltered or forgotten, she had managed to recall the moves, doing them in almost perfect sync with Taeyoung. 

Focus, focus, focus, that was the only thing running through Sowoen's mind. She looked at herself in the mirror. Even she was able to see she had improved. She felt more confident in herself than before with each move. So confident, in fact, she let her gaze wander to the side of her.

To Taeyoung.

The sweat coating her skin, falling down her neck. As she whipped her head, hitting the next beat of the dance. In between each movement, Soewon could hear the hard breaths of air she was exhaling. 

With every inhale, the citrusy scent was growing stronger, engulfing all of Sowoen's senses. She was trying. She really was. She tried to redirect her eyes back to herself, but no matter how hard she tried, they kept glancing back at Taeyoung, imagining what she would look like, exhausted in another way. 

Her head was starting to hurt. Her vision was getting blurry, with tunnel vision only focusing on Taeyoung. She shook her head.

But, before Sowoen knew it, she found herself tripping on her own feet, followed by her body colliding with the hardwood floor of the dance studio. 

“Sowoenie, oh my god, are you okay?” Taeyoung stood over her, face riddled with concern.

Cutting her words off, the overwhelming scent of citrus again filled her nostrils. She looked up at Taeyoung. This. This was her fault, Sowoen reasoned. Getting up off the ground, she towered over Taeyoung. So small, so delicate. 

“Why do you smell like that?” Sowoen took a deep inhale; the scent was practically in her head, and she couldn’t think of anything else right now. Just that scent, just Taeyoung. She wanted. No needed it. 

“Sm-smell li-like what?” Taeyoung stuttered as she had never seen the maknae act this way before. Sensing the newfound tension in the air between the two, Bada had gotten up and stood next to them. 

“Citrus, it's you.” Sowoens eyes bored into Taeyoung. Who only looked back at her with utter confusion. Of course, she knew it was her scent, but she knew for a fact that she had taken her scent blockers today. 

Bada took a deep sniff of the air, trying to catch the scent Sowoen had been talking about. Upon inhaling the air, she smelt nothing. Sniffing a bit deeper, she was able to pick up the scent of a slight citrus. That was normal, though. It shouldn’t be anything that would make Sowoen's nose act up unless. 

And then it hit her.

“You’re rutting.” Bada's words practically felt like a knife as they cut through Sowoen and Taeyoung's confrontation. Sowoen whipped her head to look at Bada. 

“No, I- I- don’t,” She stuttered. Sowoen hadn’t ever rut before. She knew that it would probably hit her sometime this year as she had just recently turned 19. She didn’t think it would be this soon, especially not here. 

“You wouldn’t be able to smell Taeyoung like that anyway else,” Bada concluded. She, herself an alpha, knew all the signs of an upcoming rut. The heightened senses, the irritability, the inability to think of anything else but breeding. 

“Couldn’t you sense it coming?” Bada quirked an eyebrow at her as she asked. 

Sowoen's cheeks started to heat up upon being asked this question. Suddenly feeling the eyes of both her unnies on her, waiting for her answer. 

“I-i’ve never rut before, i-i don’t know.” Sowoen bowed her head, looking at the ground. 

Bada nodded her head. She couldn’t blame the maknae for not knowing the signs. Now, she was starting to feel bad for pushing her so hard during this dance practice. She would've sent her home if she knew how the maknae was feeling. A tap on her arm broke her away from her thoughts. 

“What should we do?” Taeyoung asked. Although it wasn’t inherently her fault, she still felt bad. She had been around some overbearing, aggressive alphas in the past who hadn’t been able to control themselves at the very scent of an omega. She wonders how Sowoen, a relatively new presenting alpha, has been able to control herself this entire time, not just around her but also the other four omegas in the group. 

Bada felt that the two options here were cut and dry. Taeyoung helps Sowoen through her rut right now. Or they somehow lug Sowoen back to her house and let her parents deal with it. Looking at the state of the maknae, whose eyes were still firmly planted on the ground, while she had a light sheer of sweat coating her skin, thought the right answer would be obvious. Saying that, though, she wouldn’t force Taeyoung into accepting the first option either.

“Do you want to help her, you know?” Bada quirked an eyebrow.

Hearing those words had caught Sowoen's attention. Her head perked up as she looked to Taeyoung to see her answer. 

It’s her first rut. How bad could it be, Taeyoung thought to herself. 

“Ye-yeah, I-i’ll help her.” 

“Th-thank you, unnie,” Sowoen said with the utmost sincerity.

It didn’t take long for Taeyoung to feel her back collide with the hardwood floor, as the maknae had, by all means, tackled her to the ground. Leaving sloppy kisses all over her neck. 

“H-hey Sowoen, wait a second.” She used way too much strength than usual to push the maknae, getting her to stop. She unzipped the hoodie she had been wearing, now only left in a simple sports bra. Taeyoung could practically see the fireworks in Sowoen's eyes as she went back down to kissing her neck, leaving little bites here and there. 

Taeyoung smelt so good she needed more. Sowoen kept trying to dig her nose deeper and deeper into the crook of Taeyoung's neck, trying to get as close as possible to her. She needed her; she needed to get closer. 

She needed to be in her. 

Sowoen started bucking her hips inconsistently against Taeyoung's thigh as she continued to leave sloppy kisses that had now traveled down to her chest. The maknae had started pawing at Taeyoung's clothed breasts, too much in her own mind to comprehend much around her. All she knew was that she needed more of this delicious scent. 

Bada looked at Sowoen. She resembled what could be described as an excited puppy right about now with the way she was just grinding against Taeyoung's thigh, her hands trying to grasp onto any skin Taeyoung let her, with the little breath whimpers that fell from her mouth with every passing moment. 

The maknae was adorable. She wondered if she had looked this cute and excited during her first rut.

Like, straight up lowering-her-cap-by-the-rim-to-hide-her-smirk-lip-biting-giddy. ‘No one should be that cheerful after tearing a muscle’, Tatter had decided. ‘Therefore, Bada must be suspicious’, she further deduced.

“Look at her trying to play coy with us,” Tatter leaned over to their team’s sub-leader and muttered, frowning at the charm which the choreographer seemed to be exuding lately. Looking pointedly at their team leader, who’s currently snapping a selfie in the studio mirrors (presumably to post it on her instagram later), Tatter narrowed her eyes. Bada had always been a heartthrob to the camera and fans, but the blonde dancer had noticed a telltale spike these past weeks. “Look at all that swag, she must be overcompensating for something.”

Looking up from her stretches, Lusher followed Tatter’s gaze towards their team leader in an oversized hoodie and sweatpants, whose mood did seem to be extraordinarily pleasant as of late. “Oh- Oh damn. Sorry for calling you crazy last week, you were clearly onto something.” Lusher squinted at Bada’s obnoxiously preppy footsteps in the morning. “Prancing around on a Monday? Somebody got laid over the weekend.”

‘Who could it be?’ Tatter wondered to herself as she finished warming up for the day. ‘Bada’s reaction to the bouquet and the card- what an interesting reaction.’

“Whoever it is,” Lusher pressed her palms together dramatically and said a little prayer, “thank you for keeping her happy, and our lives easier.”

“Amen to that,” Minah chimed in. “You reckon it’s someone from the show?”

“Elaborate.”

As the duo bickered among themselves regarding the identity of Bada’s newest scandal, Tatter continued to ponder over the pieces of information she had accumulated. Her eyes lit up as she recalled Latrice’s request, and something involving a skirt.

“Lusher,” Tatter interjected a debate between Minah’s team-Redy and Lusher’s team-Audrey. “Do you remember that time Bada asked to borrow your skirt?”

Lusher snapped around with speed that almost warranted whiplash. “Latrice’s friend!” Her hand flew to her phone by the dance studio’s floor length mirror, flicking through her contact list. “Aha.”

Latrice was at the shops when her phone chimed. Reading the message popping up on the phone, she chuckled a little and clocked the noseyness instantly. Within a few moments, Latrice had sent through your best ‘this is her’ photos and social media profiles to the team BEBE’s subleader.

Tatter and Lusher hummed squinted their eyes at your picture, trying to pinpoint why’d you look familiar. A shockingly good candid photo of you attending an event was pulled up on Lusher’s phone. A gray suit sat on your shoulder, accompanied by a scowl as the photographer had caught you off guard (cr 📷: Latrice). “I think I’d remember if she’s been around,” Minah wondered aloud.

“Elevator, real tall.” The usually timid Sowoen piped in unexpectedly. “The one with mother Miranda vibes.”

Now that registered in Lusher’s mind. “Wait,” Lusher zoomed in on your picture, “does Latrice have more friends in town?”

“Mhmm- I dig the delinquency,” Tatter said, still staring at the phone. “Bada finally found her match huh.”

“I’m giving my number to her,” Sowoen announced. The youngest is filled with surprise today.

Tatter and Lusher glanced at each other before bursting out into a fit of giggles. “We are pretty sure Bada is linking up with her, what do you mean you’re giving her your number?”

“I called dibs!” The youngest of the group wailed, her teammates now laughing at her flushed red cheeks.

The noise attracted their team leader, who have finally decided to investigate the shenanigans that the girls have been up to.

“What’s the gripe? Who do we hate?” The tall choreographer butted between Sowoen and Minah, expecting another Selena-Hailey debate going on among the dancers, only to be shocked when Lusher turned her phone screen to her. “Woah! How’d we get this?”

Sowoen gently prodded a finger at Bada’s shoulder. “Bada-unnie,” she quietly, but firmly, requested for Bada’s attention. “They said you’ve been linking up with her. Respectfully, that’s not cool man, I called dibs.”

The group stared wide eyed at the baby of their team, who’d suddenly found her voice in the team- and immediately chose to use it to declare her utmost disappointment at their team leader’s disrespect.

“Wait. Pause. Rewind. how did the conversation get here in the first place?”

“I find you suspicious these days,” Tatter shrugged.

“Can you still pass my number along?”

“I have no idea what’s going on but I’m loving your energy,” Lusher and Minah egged on. A ‘go Sowoen’ was muttered by one of them.

Bada stares incredulously at her teammates, “y’all this is the toxic gossip train-”

“Nope,” Tatter cuts her short, not giving Bada a chance to finish her sentence. “That’s not how that saying is used.”

“We won’t gossip if you give us the tea,” Minah proposed an alternative.

“There’s no tea!” Bada shook her head at the girls, raising a hand in defense. “Look, it’s nothing serious, and I won't let it affect my work. Can we please get back to brainstorming some Rihanna songs?”

The group gasped, Sowoen looking over at Tatter for moral support. “So there is something going on?”

“Oh come on,” Bada sighed exasperatedly, sticking her tongue against the hollow of her cheeks. “We’ve been filming for months, do you know how hard it is to find someone who can work around my schedule?”

“You have a schedule… to fuck?” Minah side-eyed her team leader. Tatter swiftly placed her hands over Sowoen’s ears. “That changed my perception of you- Not sure what kind of change- but not for the better, I can assure you.”

“Jesus, that’s not what I mean,” Bada rolled her eyes at the girls, defending her image in Sowoen’s eyes. “As much as I love dancing, a woman has needs, alright? Hey- no, don’t boo me Lusher. I saw the way you acted around Chocol. You little sl- I said don’t boo me!”

“Eh,” Tatter shrugged her shoulders and pointed her chin at the phone screen, “lesbians? Give ‘em two weeks, three more dates, and they’ll be u-hauling.”

Bada gasped, “accusatory and stereotyping.”

“Hey wanna bet that bada is going to use winning the show to get laid?” Ignoring their leader, the girls giggled amongst themselves.

“If we win-”

Minah was cut off by Bada. “-when we win.”

Sowoen gasped and pointed a finger at the team BEBE leader. “So you are planning on doing that!”

The girls watched their team leader dumbly open and shut her mouth as she attempted to come up with a witty comeback. When she drew a blank, she huffed and retreated to the speakers across the room, fiddling with the Bluetooth settings as she tried to keep her hands busy.

“Bada-unnie,” Sowoen cleared her throat before throwing in one last jab, “if it’s just a fling you won’t mind me asking her out, right?”

Tatter learned two things that practice: 1, Bada, despite contrary beliefs, bottoms (frequency still unknown, but seemingly not zero). 2, Sowoen is a milf hunter.

‘What a week!’ Tatter thought to herself. ‘And it’s only Monday.’
