Just breath... That was what she repeated to herself like a mantra. Eyes closed, hands clenched at her side as she tried to listen. As she tried to calm down from her anxiety attack that had her hands shaking more than the cold steam that was coming off of them. She had almost forgot that she wasn’t alone until a warmth was spreading from her hand up her arm. Her skin almost hissing at his touch.

Eyes snapping open, darting towards him before looking down at where Dom was holding her hand. Tension melting away starting from where he touched her, travelling up her shoulders to her face as she finally did breath. Focusing on him now more than herself. Slowly, as if she was afraid if she moved too quickly it would break this peace that he brought her, she turned her hand over and laced her fingers with his. Looking up into his eyes again before whispering, “Thank you....”

It was early Friday night and Clarke was spending it vegging in her dorm room, watching old movies and hanging out with one of her best friends. “ On a scale of one-to-ten, how crazy does this eye mask make me look? ”

a puff of laughter & a downward glance to avoid that teasing grin a moment , while he’s playfully talked down from his abundance of caution. but he can’t shy for long when ambrose goes on , he is SPARKED. nodding quickly , eyes alight , lips parted , as if he’s got four things to say all at once and can’t decide which. it had been SO much to take in for a covenless witch. his only prior impressions coming from luke mentioning it , though not nearly enough to sate connor’s curiosity. “ it was amazing! ” he breaths. it had started , briefly , under the unsettling gaze of father blackwood. but after that he’d stuck close to ambrose , relative familiarity in what felt like a new world .. no matter how many books he devoured or stories zilla told him , he couldn’t be like the others , the ones who’d grown up entirely aware of themselves. and truthfully he wasn’t keen on socialization so it’d been easy to simply observe THROUGH ambrose. “ the pentagonal structure was fascinating and i mean classes on demonology , a-and invocation. conjuring was ____” connor had primarily been homeschooled but he can’t imagine that kind of lesson came up much in a regular school either. “ and the sanctum. ” a  FORBIDDEN LIBRARY , two words that made connor practically ache to know more. 

 “ the lecture was great.” he adds. it ended too soon , connor would have been enthralled for another two hours , at least. “ i think you found your calling.” he offers on another small laugh. though perhaps he doesn't wholly believe in that , maybe something less restrictive , less limited would be the other witch's calling , if connor had to guess. but he wishes to be supportive to the person who brought him along.

“There ain’t no such thing as doin’ a bad thing for a good reason.” Jack sighs, running a hand through his messy hair. “If ya did a bad thing, it’s still bad! The reason don’t cancel that out.” He wasn’t necessarily freaking out, but he was hoping to get through their head. Not that that changes anything that has already happened. The only thing to do now is learn from the past, and figure out the future.

Immediately jumping back Elsa froze for a moment. Hurt written all over her face but not because he had actually hurt her physically. She was fine, but mentally as he told her to go away she was ready to run. Afraid that she had hurt him somehow or that maybe he was just finally seeing her for what she thought she was. A monster. “I-I’m sorry!” Unable to help herself from tearing up. She wrapped her arms around herself. 

She took a deep breath. Trying to push her own worried thoughts away to think about him and how him pushing her away right now might not have anything to do with who she was but that maybe he was having a moment like she had all too often. “Dom... I want to respect your wishes and leave, and if that’s what you really want I will because I don’t want to hurt you, but... I don’t think you should be alone right now either.” She fought every instinct in her to run and not look back as she stood there behind him. Wanting so badly to reach out and hold him like he had with her. 

“Please...”

At a glance someone might assume Elsa was shivering where she laid in her bed with her back to the door. Trembling as she held her hands close to herself. Covered with the gloves her father had given her as a way to shield herself and others from her powers. To try and control them. It wasn’t perfect, but it helped in moments like this as she tried to pull herself together.

Anna had a point, that she had pushed her away for years and that it wasn’t fair but Elsa couldn’t change it. No matter how much she wanted too, no matter how much Anna begged the only person Elsa could even consider letting into her life was the person that had come to her side tonight after meeting her sister. The person she was surprised, but not pulling away from as he crawled into the bed beside her. His warmth calming her more than anything.

“I don’t want to be a monster...” She whispered, not turning towards him but not pushing him away either. “If I wasn’t then I wouldn’t have to...” She wouldn't have to push Anna away like she did.
