I'm not sure if that's ok, but I thought to ask. I want to get a tattoo of a double-headed serpent, I'm not going to do something exactly like Caro's, I just want to get a illustration that I can show to my tattoo artist as a reference. Can I do that?

You sure can! Obviously I don’t own the concept of two headed snakes and the tattoos I draw on characters don’t necessarily translate well to real life as is, and need adjustment from your artist, I’ve had a few people get reimagined versions on both arm and other places before and they looks so cool! Here’s a couple of pics of the tattoo itself and the piece in action (on a cartoon of course ha). If you need anything else let me know, and if you’re up for it, I’d love to see what you do 🖤

There are like--NO Stargate flash sheets out there on the internet so I had to take it upon myself. I’m gonna end up tattooing the worm on me, I know it. Would also get the Atlantis design but I don’t think I have room on the accessible places on my body? And I don’t want some yahoo who doesn’t care about Stargate to tattoo my own work on me, seems lame. Anyway, enjoy! someone come to CA and let me tattoo them!

so I've got a long tattoo appointment next week and it's with a new artist who will inevitably ask what I do for work (as is the case with first-time small talk).

I'm torn between being giving a normal answer (animal behavioralist and dog walker) or risking becoming slightly unhinged and telling her all about my phd in polar research.

i saw somebody say (what boiled down to) that we are on a ball with a lava core hurdling through space, theres more important things to worry about than numbing cream

and some numbscull replied with something like, by your logic we shouldnt be worried about the holocaust and other tragedies because we are just on a rock in space do you hear yourself

now why is somebody using numbing cream for a tattoo as bad as a thing as those events to you. if youre going to be bothered about people dodging tattoo pain, you should be concerned about the people who manage to go under full body anesthesia for their tattoos, thats just dangerous and unnecessary
