While getting my tattoo I thought about how horrible childbirth must be. I was in a lot of pain, at times I was silently crying from the pain with my lower lip quivering and everything, my whole body was shaking at times and my right leg was twitching, but I never made a single sound or even a weird face. And women giving birth apparently scream from pain and make all those faces. So giving birth must be buch worse. Plus I could always tell my artist when I needed a break, you can't do that during childbirth.

So yeah, another reason never to have kids. So much suffering and you don't even get amazing art out of it.

I had to haggle with my friend again about the price if my tattoo. She wanted to give me a discount, I wanted to pay the full price cause she didn’t only tattoo me but also let me stay at her place, paid for all my food and tram/bus tickets. But she wouldn’t budge. When I finally accepted the discounted price, I tried to add a huge tip to that at least cause it’s just common sense and normal to tip your tattoo artist. More haggling ensued cause she didn’t wanna accept the tip. Luckily I could force her to accept at least that.

The difference between Poland and Norway is incredible though. I paid less than one third of the Norway price in Poland, both tattoos were two full days. I understand why she moved away from Poland, back then I felt like I was ripping her off and I had to argue with her until she’d accept my tip back then as well

14.5 hours in two sessions on two consecutive days. I’m so glad I only have one chest.

When we were finally done we listened to We Are The Champions and then sang Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of our lungs

Half finished and I’m half dead. 7 hours, 7 more to go but let’s not think about that right now. This German is gonna eat some French fries. with two Polish people in Norway and then sleep

Naked and afraid and suffering. 3.5 hours so far and my friend is determined to finish today… it’s 6pm already 😅

Me getting tattoos positioned is basically just “bigger…bigger…maybe a bit bigger…can you do it wider? Oh, and a bit bigger”

Also masks aren’t mandatory here anymore and it’s so so weird to be massless on public transport and inside places?? Like I was so prepared to wear a mask during that tattooing and now it’s the first time in over a year that I’m not wearing a mask in public

At the tattoo studio, my friend is preparing the stencil and I’m just sitting here shirtless and exciteeeeeed 🤩🤩🤩🤩
