Emotions, elements, energies and essences
The matrix that is the mother, is primordial pure energy.
Parashakti, the primordial ocean of light, sound and vibration, is the metra or womb of creation.
Stirred by a creative pulse, the waters whirlpool/spiral and Matrishakti’s rise. As forces of creation, they act within the waters of consciousness as currents of organization or vortices of creation. The pure energy becomes organized into measures of elementary matter, matra (matter) and take form as Tanmatra, the subtle elements. Tanmatra are spun out by the Shakti forces into the vast display of the ever-changing creation. Combining and recombining in all possibilities the Tanmatra arrange into elements (earth, water, fire, air & space).
The elements and Nature are nourishment for the senses. The elements activate sensory perception which becomes knowledge. The senses are channels of energetic transduction. An impression is taken in by the mind through attention and by observation, generating a corresponding internal felt state in the body, a signature feeling or mood or bhava. As observation unifies with the objects of perception and subtle essences are released as nourishment for higher knowledge and consciousness (deep insight and understanding): beatitude, bliss, love, compassion – are all flavours of the divine union or absorption.
In every moment there is the creative emission, the pulse from the one to the many and the fall and absorption of the many into the one. With contemplative perception we can allow our awareness to be drawn deeper inward, into the observer, as the wave of perception is drawn back into the ocean leaving us with moods and essences of experiencing. Experiencing of Parashakti lead us to her consort, in who she is fully rooted, it is by her powers and grace that we realize the Supreme, beyond. The emotional landscape of feeling is the subtle bridge between the physical and the causal.
To approach the causal, or that which is beyond, we must establish an emotional/energetic bridge within ourselves. Disciplines help us grow in emotional perception so as to safely enter the deeper realms.
