his hip-to-waist ratio???
New Detective Warframe and his weapon, Corecracker
Not shown but he'll also have a hound companion!
bro just got revived from the dead and the first thing he did was to puff that smoke what the fuck is wrong with him (affectionate)
So that new frame huh
Sin City but it's Warframe Tau
I know the current theory is that Hunra is Adis.
But, what if it's actually Brysko?
Like, I know Hunra has the ethereal arms that Adis had and when we first meet him, we first get a vision of Adis.
But what if that's just a red herring and Brysko was made from Adis and that's why we get that vision?
Because it's Brysko (possibly partially) remembering things?
EDIT: Well, this post's gotten a lot of traction.
So, lemme just put forward points for both sides of the debate as to who Adis is.
First off "Brysko is Adis"
Brysko is a Chimeric Warframe made partially from Sentient Parts. Which could be Adis's parts.
Brysko is mentioned to having died at one point (and it sounded like it's quite a frequent occurrence?) and brought back much like how the Tenno can die and resurrect. An ability we got from Adis.
But Adis's resurrect ability doesn't work on them but in that same vein: no other Sentient to my knowledge can do that. Indicating that Brysko is at least connected to Adis in some way.
Furthering that: throughout the entire Demo, we're treated to Brysko's internal monologue (as expected for a noir detective) and when we're about to be introduced to Hunra, we're suddenly treated to a flashback of Adis.
Which, why would we suddenly be given a glimpse into Hunra's thoughts if it's Hunra remembering a potentially distorted memory of what happened during the events of Old Peace?
And as @dragonfoxkid and @talosarian have pointed out: Brysko and Adis have similar faces.
Now "Hunra is Adis"
First off: Hunra's small ethereal blue arms a similar to Adis's and I mean the arms inside of his shell, poking up out the neckhole, you can barely see them at times due to the lighting.
But I've not seen a Sentient with those types of arms. Typically they're solid with some sort of weapon on the end or simply appendage and don't look like an ethereal nervous system.
Hunra knows something is coming to Tau and is seemingly being fed info from Wally boy.
Now: Wally has seemingly only been interested only in two people and those who are connected to said people.
Said people being the Tenno and Entrati so it would make sense that Wally reached out to Adis and struck a deal, out of everyone Adis was one of the people the Operator was closest to.
And it would be wonderfully sadistic move on Wally's part to try and turn Adis against The Operator. It would be an utter kick to between the legs and punch to the gut for The Operator to learn Adis is alive and hates them.
We're introduced to Hunra moments after we get a flash back of Adis. It could be that Hunra has some minor variant of Transference and Hunra/Adis(?) got it from making a deal with Wally.
Thus when those doors open and we get the flashback, it's Hunra's transference accidentally connecting to Brysko and showing him that memory.
It's both
I can't take credit for this one: @dragonfoxkid suggested it in the tags of a reblog he did.
But I'm still going to try and reinforce this idea.
Both Brysko and Hunra have body parts that are very similar to Adis's body: Hunra has those ethereal thin nervous system like arms and Brysko's face looks like Adis's unmasked face.
It could be that Entrati, being the bastard he is, cannibalized parts of Adis to give to Brysko because let's face it: Adis was special.
They could do stuff that other Sentients seemingly couldn't: their healing song for example. So it makes sense Entrati would use some of their parts for a Warframe.
Maybe Hunra is what's left behind
We only get that flashback when we're in close proximity (like the other side of a room close) to Hunra which could also indicate, like dragonfoxkid said, that it's two halves of a whole trying to remember something.
But there's another potential angle to this:
It could be that neither of them are Adis but are still made from Adis's parts.
Because it's implied that Adis's soul is now lingering inside of The Operator, which gives them their ability to revive upon death.
Not to mention, Adis's memory in the Dark Refractory is seemingly aware that they're in a memory.
So again, it could be that yes: Hunra and Brysko were made from Adis's parts.
Sentients are at the end of the day, very sophisticated machines. They're self-aware and can adapt to whatever you throw at them which, I cannot emphasize enough just how advanced these things are.
So it would make sense that, upon dying, so long as the parts are reassembled you could in theory resurrect a Sentient.
But since Adis gave us their soul, there's no spark there to reanimate. It would've been a fresh OS being installed, a new mind.
So, it could be that at some point Hunra came online and build himself a new body to distinguish himself from Adis and Entrati found the old parts to use for Brysko.
Or maybe it's vice versa: Entrati somehow got his hands onto Adis's corpse and cannibalized it for Brysko and then Hunra came online, saw the state of his body and built a new one.
So, it could be that Hunra is indeed being fed info by Wally but the memory we see is neither Brysko's nor Hunra's, but one that Wally gave Hunra and Brysko is accessing it due to coming from the same parts.
Or because he's a Warframe and Hunra may have access to transference?
EDIT 2: This is my first post that has reached 1000 likes......
Cheers!
What did DE mean by this
Well, sentient mafia was not on my Warframe Tennocon Bingo card.
