We hosted our Tau Sigma induction ceremony yesterday!!! It was the first time I was giving a speech but the 3 of us did amazing 😁 so happy for our new Tau Sigma inductees 😍
Tau Sigma
The other day I received an e-mail from a new honor society that was established on my college campus this year. I was nominated to become a member, and with a one-time fee of $45 I can join. If my GPA drops below 3.5, I'm still in, no matter what. There are no chapter fees or semester payments. There's a ceremony they'd like for me to attend if I join, but I don't think I will. This isn't a fake or scam, it's legit. I looked at their site and everything, and there's a NHS official on campus.
Anyway, I was wondering whether or not I should join this honor society. I have the end of this month to respond, otherwise I have to pay a late fee. Can someone offer me some feedback/advice? Have you ever joined an honor society? Does it look good on a resume when you graduate? Is it worth it?

My best friend officially became a member for Sigma Tau Delta an International English Honor Society, and Tau Sigma an Academic National Honors Society :) very proud of her!!
I was so out of it at the end of last week, I read 150 pages of a book that I'm not supposed to read til next week. So today in class I was confused when the lecture was on the last book I read. haha I guess that's a good problem to have but I can never get that distracted again.
gawd it's been like this all year. I woulda done exponentially better if I just focused on school.
oh well, next year I'm gonna kick ass. CAC, USAC, TSA, Tau Sigma and finishing my degreeeee!
doin wooorkkkk.
Is Tau Sigma a scam?
Some transfer honor society thingy. If it's worth it, I will become a member. Just wondering if anyone (I guess those who have transferred colleges) has heard of this/knows whether it's worth it/etc.
