My obsession with white colour mini figures collection continues! This my Mark II XV86 Cold-Star T’au Battle Suit, I call him the White-Star Battle suit 😂. Compared to my Mark I, this model took me well under half that time to finish building and painting; a lot faster this time around. Switching back to the T'au battlesuit collection. These are the XV88 Broadside Battlesuits, wielding heavy rail rifles. The figure in the middle was the initial rendition of my T'au army's theme, The Bronze Armada. But it didn't quite hit the spot, so I switched the theme over to being The Golden Armada. | | | | • Here's some background lore• Designed to offer long-range support, the XV88 Broadside Teams began as an experiment in blending the manoeuvrability of a ballistic battlesuit with the devastating firepower of a Hammerhead Gunship (a gunship equipped with a railgun).
