Tau Legacy Generation C heir poll
Another round of voting is upon us. Because I haven’t played far enough ahead, Carter is still a child both to me and to y’all, so we don’t have a good sense of how he’ll turn out. BUT there’s no reason to exclude a wildcard, so he will be included in the poll just like his older siblings! So without further ado.... let's vote! Character description below.
Who will be the Tau Generation C heir?
Callum Tau
Cyrus Tau
Cecil Tau
Carter Tau
Voting ended onFeb 8
Traits: Genius, Ski Lover
Aspiration: Mt Komorebi Sightseer (take it slow and achieve complete emotional control)
Callum’s sense of place in the world is a little off-kilter. Callum knows they were born from Belle’s time with her bad egg of an ex, Zayne, and struggled with their relationship with their father as a child. But that was before Grandma Aya took matters into her own hands and made Zayne a thing of the past… mostly. Now, Callum navigates high school adventures, trips down snowy slopes, and excellent fashion while also reckoning with near nightly encounters from their father. And somehow, they’re even more upset by their stepsister, Piper’s, decision to run off and get married to her older boyfriend. Is it any wonder that their current life goal is just to get away from it all for a while?
Traits: Art Lover, Chess Lover
Aspiration: Opinionated (Max out Critic Career)
Cyrus Tau loves sophistication. Pretty things, high society, judging others. The whole gambit. But despite how much he enjoys calling out other people, Cyrus has an unshakable soft spot for this dramatic family of his. Whether or not he’s named the heir, Cyrus hopes to launch his good name (and the Tau name as a whole) into the world of the upper echelon. It’s not his biggest priority, but Cyrus’s twin, Cecil, keeps mentioning this whole dating thing, and Cyrus can’t deny he’s a little intrigued.
Aspiration: Master Educator (Max out Education Career)
There probably aren’t many people who’d say teachers go into the field for the recognition, but there are exceptions to every rule. Cecil Tau has spent most of his upbringing feeling a tad overlooked. Somehow, with Carter as the unexpected baby of the family, Cecil isn’t even forgotten enough to be the “forgotten kid.” He’s just Cecil. And he’s not happy about it. So now he’s on a quest to be more than he is now. He’ll give back to his community as an extraordinary educator (and land a beautiful wife while he’s at it), and then finally everyone will see just how special Cecil is. Being named heir would be the perfect cherry on top.
An unexpected addition to the family, Carter is the baby of five siblings. While Norah dotes on her final baby boy, his siblings pay him little to no mind, and Belle had a hard time bonding with him (as she did with most of her kids, honestly). Still, Carter is a young mind full of potential and a bright future ahead. And for now he seems to have a kind heart, at least. Naming him heir might confuse his older siblings, but he has just as much claim to the future of the Tau family as the rest of them.
