Bard. He’s her father, he’s her Da.  Even in the assassin Da verse, she’d save him.  She loves him even when she says she doesn’t -- even when she thinks she doesn’t.

Hmmm...This is probably the hardest ones of the three you sent me.  I think this is verse dependent, actually. Normally it would be Thranduil. 

In the assassin verse, I think in an odd way she’d save Oropher, even though she...doesn’t always really like him? 

I’m not entirely sure if her decision would be partially to spite Bard by not saving his husband, or if it would be entirely because Oropher has sort of become the parental figure that she’s been missing since her relationship with Bard fell apart.  In many ways, even though she often doesn’t like him -- and often doesn’t want to listen to him -- Oropher has become one of the more stable people in her life.  He knows about both sides of her life, and even though she often hates that he knows, and she doesn’t necessarily want him to know, and so she continues to try to hide things from him, it’s also a relief for her that he knows, that she doesn’t have to hide things.  In a way, Oropher is safe (if that makes sense, since he’s....also easily the most dangerous person she knows).  

She’d know that Oropher would hate her for not saving Thranduil, but instinctively I think she’d move to save Oropher.

She’d save Garrett.  He’s her child, and as much as she loves Wulf deeply, there’s no way that she would not choose to save her child.  And she would know that Wulf would want her to save their child.  She’d never forgive herself for letting Wulf die -- and depending on how old Garrett is, there’s also a chance that he’d never forgive her for it.  But she’d choose Garrett, no question.

The shabby, forty something man wasn’t in the habit of bumping into handsome strangers on the street. Yet here he was, flat on his ass in front of a Starbucks, mumbling an apology as patrons stare and giggle.

Bard sat in the booth tired and beaten. He didn’t bother to try and stop the bleeding on the side of his head where he had moments ago, had it smashed onto a table. It was hard to pay attention to the man talking across from him as he could still hear the blood rushing in his ears, adrenaline still running high after the fight. “I’m sorry--- you want me to do what?”
