Apprentice Gentlepaw, on what was meant to be the day of his warrior ceremony, wakes up and discovers his family, his clanmates, even his leader, all slaughtered. Without a trace of who or what was responsible. Gentlepaw notices a kit- the sweet and kind Apricotkit is still breathing. In shock and not knowing what else to do, he decides to set out in search of new territory, far away from whatever beast caused this tragedy, to start a new life with Apricotkit, and rebuild Tawhaiclan.
