#Repost @colvinology ・・・ Bourbon Barrel Qualified, a 10% bourbon barrel aged Belgian-style quadrupel from Taxman Brewing (@taxmanbrewing), and the Master Grade Plan 303E Deep Striker . The nose is full of bourbon, brown sugar, caramel, and dried fruit. The bourbon itself isn't overpowering, allowing those dark, malty quadrupel aromas shine through. The sip follows beautifully, with a hit of smooth bourbon that blends into fantastic flavors of molasses and dried fruit, before returning right at the end to give a boozy kick. Basically this tastes like a nice quadrupel sipped from a bourbon rinsed glass, which...if that's something you've never tried, I highly recommend it. This is my first beer from Taxman, and I have to respect any American brewery that puts out a solid quadrupel. It's one of my favorite styles on earth, and I haven't had one in AGES, so I'm beyond glad I got to sip this one. . Shout-out to Tavour for this one.
