Basically I suck and I need a co-owner because of my same excuse - school is really hard and being a junior sucks (which is actually so true). So, if you want to be my co-owner, then send me a message on here.

Not to pressure you because I know you've been busy and stressed, but are you still writing?

I took a break to focus on school (it was way longer than I intended), but I'm pretty positive that I’m officially back as of today or tomorrow. I have some requests I’m going to work on, but I’m not too sure if I can get them up tonight. I definitely want to get back into posting more on this blog. 

Also, I’m so sorry I was gone for so long. I was not expecting that long of a break.

First Defeat: Chapter 2

"Jordan, I can't tell you why I'm upset, okay?" Tay looked at Cameron and gave him a look that said, 'Please get him out of here.' Cameron cleared his throat. "Jor, she's in a really bad mood. You probably don't want to deal with it. We've got it covered, I promise." "Are we still doing WATIC dinner tonight?" he asked. Mike and Cameron looked at Tay. "Yeah," Tay said. "We are. But it's just us five and Amanda - no one else." She stood up from the bed and walked to the trash can to throw something away. Jordan nodded his head. "I'll see you guys tonight." Before he left, he walked over to Tay and gave her a hug. "I hope you feel better." He kissed the top of her head and then left. Tay sat down next to Cameron once again. "This is so fucking hard," she whispered. "It'll get better, I promise you." Cameron laid down, bringing Tay with him, and wrapped his arms around her. He could tell that she needed comfort.

Instead of wasting even more gas and going home, Tay stayed with Mike, Cameron, and Amanda until the WATIC dinner. They all went out to a sushi restaurant in Poughkeepsie.  Jordan sat by Tay, who sat by Cameron. Cameron was in front of Mike, who sat next to Amanda, who sat next to Rob.  Tay could already tell the dinner was going to be awkward. "Cam, I don't think I can do this," she whispered to him. Cameron rubbed her back.  "Don't worry, you'll make it through," he whispered.

Halfway through dinner, Tay was lucky and didn't have to hear about Katie. That was, until, Rob brought her up. "So Jordan, how's your relationship with Katie?" He asked. Jordan swallowed his food before he spoke. "Oh, it's going so great. I can't wait for you all to meet her." He had a smile on his face, and that's when Tay lost it. Her face became red and she couldn't stand to hear anymore about his relationship. Cameron gave Tay's hand a squeeze. "You need to get some fresh air?"  Tay nodded. "Yeah. Thanks, Cam." She got out of the booth, and then felt herself tear up. She looked back to see Jordan looking at her, and that's when she started crying. She immediately turned her head away. "I'm going to go check on Tay," Mike said. He got up, as well as Jordan. "Jordan, go sit down. I've got it covered." "No," Jordan told Mike. "She's my best friend. I need to know what's going on with her." Mike sighed. "It's about you, but that's all I'm telling you. When you go out there, don't mention Katie." Jordan nodded and started to walk outside. He found Tay sitting in a chair outside. "Hey," he said. "I really don't like seeing you upset." He took her hand and held it for no particular reason. "I don't like being upset, but I have been for quite a while," Tay told him. "Then why don't you tell me what's wrong? It'll probably help." Tay stood up after taking her hand out of Jordan's. "Jor, I already told you that I can't tell you." She sighed and looked down at her feet. "Just please, respect that." Jordan watched her start to walk inside and followed her.

After the WATIC dinner was over with, Tay was getting ready to go back to Cameron's house. Their album was being released the next day, they had signings two days in a row in the city, and they were going on tour the day after. Tay decided she would just stay with one of her band members. "Cameron, she can stay with me," Jordan told him while they were all walking to their cars. Tay's head immedaitely turned to Cameron, who gave her a shrug. "Jor, my stuff is at Cameron's." Excuse. "No worries, we can stop by there and get it." Jordan grabbed her hand. "I'm doing this so you won't run away from me," he told her. "This is like Tay-napping!" she playfully responded. "You'll thank me for it later," Jordan said.

On the long car ride from the sushi restaurant to Cameron's house, to Jordan's house, it was filled with music. Finally, Jordan had broke the silence between them. "Your excuse about your stuff being at Cameron's house was lame." Jordan gave Tay a wink and laughed it off. "It wasn't that lame." She laughed back. They pulled into Jordan's driveway a few minutes later. Jordan got Tay's suitcase from his trunk and they both went inside. "Where's your girlfriend?" Tay mocked. She rolled her eyes at the thought of Jordan even having a girlfriend other than her. "She's at home." he replied. Cody, Jordan's dog, came running to the both of them. Tay picked him for Jordan since he was carrying her suitcase, and followed him upstairs.

About an hour later, Tay was in Jordan's bed.The two of them were watching a TV show and trying to fall asleep. Tay's phone buzzed. She picked it up and read the text. -Cameron: How are things with Jordan? -Tay: Awkward. But hopefully they'll get better. -Cameron: Sorry for not saving you from him. It's for the best, though. -Tay: You don't need to be sorry about anything. I need to work things out before we go on tour for like two months. -Cameron: Tell me how things go tomorrow. -Tay: Will do, Hurley. Tay put her phone to the side after answering Cameron. "Jor, why is it so fucking cold in your room?" She turned over to face him and got closer until they were practically face to face. Jordan put his arms around her and brought her closer to him. His face leaned down and down, until their lips were finally touching. Tay's stomach released a bunch of butterflies. His kiss made her feel a good kind of overwhelmed. When he pulled away from her, she immediately kissed him back. "I'm so sorry," she told him. "There's no need to be sorry." He smiled and kissed her back before falling asleep. What the fuck was that?, Tay thought to herself.
