My mom (a 67-year-old woman) is so freakishly obsessed with hating Taylor Swift that she is obsessively checking the Superbowl in hopes that the Chiefs will lose because she's convinced that Taylor, an extremely successful pop star, will crumble to teas on screen if her boyfriend loses his football game.

Taylor Swift is one of those people who you can try to hate all you want, but if you take two minutes to take a look at the stuff she's done, and how greatful she is, she's impossible to hate.

Taylor Haters Can Screw Themselves

So today on the bus a boy from the year below me sat next to me. I was listening to my music and heard Shake It Off playing on the radio so like every Swiftie when they hear Tay I took my headphones off to listen (I have mixers so just moved one side from near my ear). Everyone was listening to it and dancing around and it made me so appreciative of the change that we've experienced lately. The media, and people in general, have stopped focusing on irrelevant things like her love life and have started to actually hear her music and the messages she tells through the lyrics. Recently I haven't heard anyone hating on Taylor, apart from people trying to annoy me and saying it as a joke and one girl who said she didn't like her but thought SIO was great. So then I hear the boy next to me say "You know Taylor Swift writes all these songs about cheating exes and guys getting with loads of girls but she's a right one to talk. I mean she's got with practically everyone." STOP RIGHT THERE THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I want to let that boy know that Taylor has never cheated on anyone because she's experienced the pain of that herself so why would she willingly give it to someone else? She hasn't got with loads of guys, she's been with 6 guys during her time in the music industry and hasn't dated in a while now. I swear it took everything in me to not burst out laughing at what he said because of how stupid he sounded but then I realised that a lot of people used to think this mainly because of how the media portrayed her to be some sort of serial dater, blank space girl. They weren't fans of Taylor and may never be but I just think it's such a shame that people don't know who Taylor really is even now. But do they really have a valid reason to hate Taylor? Not really because we are always told to not believe everything you read in the media and online. Can they dislike her? Yes that's there opinion but hate? No.

so all the girls who used to hate on taylor last year are going through really bad breakups right now and they're all walking around singing songs of taylor's that aren't singles and aren't very known to the majority of people and I think this just goes to show that sooner or later everyone will realise we all need taylor swift in our lives
