The people Taylor surrounds herself with is further evidence of her character. Welcome to my TAYLORtalk.
Taylor’s friendship with Abigail has lasted since they were fifteen and they still make time for each other. And with a life like Taylor’s, both parties have to be incredibly intentional to make those visits happen.
Imagine her schedule. Not just the official one, but also the schedule she sets for herself - writing, recording, designing, planning, easter egg-hiding, lurking, interacting with us, and trying to see her lover every now and then. That in itself is a feat to balance.
Knowing how hard she works, I wonder if she gets time to herself. Just to do some self care. Now if she were reading this, she’d probably say “my me-time is hanging out with you guys on here” just because she’s that kind and selfless and it’s probably true in her mind. But let’s be real, some of the stuff we post for her to see is not always conducive to a good time.
She keeps people around whether that be band members, vocalists, dancers, directors, etc. (heLLO PAUL SIDOTI AND JACK ANTONOFF) It’s important to her to grow with good people and use her popularity to advance their careers too. She doesn’t see herself as better than anyone else (I think she of all people is well aware of the fact that fame is completely at the mercy of the audience). And it’s a two way street because Taylor is so genuine that her entire existence welcomes people and invites them to stay.
This the kind of thing that comes to mind when people ask why I love Taylor Swift so much. Actions speak louder than words.
