People keep asking me if Kravitz is Clara in the Nutcracker AU and the answer is HELL YEAH.

Hey, @vainvaihe-art, I’m so super into your au. So much so that I watched the whole nutcracker just so I could draw it. The bottom left is Lucretia as whatever the mother turned into in the dream, I’m not sure what the name of the character is. I thought it kinda fit tho. Thoughts?

The further they get along, Kravitz becomes slower, and he stops breathing and even with Taako’s coat he just cant seem to move any faster and Taako says:

"You good, homie? You lying about not getting cold or something cause Im sure Merle wouldnt mind losing some stuffing" "N-no." says Kravitz, barely moving his jaw. "It j-just I'm already dead so the t-t-t-temperature affects me differently." "What? Why would it?" "Ow-outside of my breathing, there isnt a single part of my body that generates heat, meaning that my body has n-n-no way to counteract the cold until eventually I-" Kravitz goes silent. "Until you what? " asks Taako, turning, but when he looks Kravitz is frozen solid, covered head to toe in ice.

So Lucas. The evil rat. Shrinks Kravitz because Kravitz tried to step on him?

Basically. Lucas tried to come and kill Taako (the nutcracker), Magnus (a mannequin) and Merle (the plushie) which had been given to Kravitz by Istus (or by the Raven Queen.) and so when Kravitz woke up and saw his toys fighting this awful tiny man he tried to step on Lucas with his regulation, steel-toed reaper boots.

“Kravitz was always a light sleeper, so it was not difficult for him to be stirred by distant shouts. He awoke still on the couch, he forgot to go to bed after he was waiting for his nutcracker’s leg to dry [AN he glued it bc he’s a proactive protagonist]. Said nutcracker, to his weary surprise, was up and about, and looking directly at him. “Sup.” He called to a baffled Kravitz, disheveled in his MCR pajama shirt..,” I WILL PRACTICE WRITING FOR YOUR AU! It’s a good one :)
