hi!! could you recommend any pens or markets that don't bleed through paper easily?
Sure :)
Muji pens- on the more $$ side but if you like having sharp tips that make really thin lines and write super smoothy, I’d give them a shot (though they don’t like stagger randomly in the amount of ink coming out, it’s not very inky but that can be a + or a -). Also these do smudge when you add highlighter on top :/
Pilot Juice pens- these are my absolute favorites! the level of inkiness is perfect even with the .38 tip and it writes super smoothly. it’s a bit cheaper than the muji ones but they’re a bit pricey. But really the pens are hoenstly amazing. The only downside I’d say is that in the multi colored packs some colors are super hard to see. But really they’re quite amazing 100/10 recommend (I’m also not sure but I like the size and the grip of the overall pen compared to others ones).
Zebra Sarsa pens- so I’ve only worked with the milk colors which are pastel but you can see them all easily (except fro the white of course) and I tried the .5 size and I like it a lot. It’s thicker but that’s only b/c of the size and the amount of ink coming out is steady and nice. But I think if you prefer sharp pens I’d definitely go with the muji, but price wise and color variation wise these rank higher.
Sharpie Stylo pens- I guess these are like super super thin markers? But they don’t bleed through at all and they’re really cost friendly in comparison to the others. Also I like how thin they write and the thickness it writes in is super nice as well.
Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pens- I’m not the biggest fan of felt tipped pens or these types of pens since I prefer gel ink, but as far as they go if you do like a thicker tip or prefer felt tip these are great because they don’t bleed through paper and have many color options. Price wise they cost more than stabilos but are cheaper than most the pens above. Also the triangular shape of the pen is also quite comfy.
Stabilo Point 88 pens- I personally have not used this one extensively but they’re felt tipped as well. they are cheaper than the staedtlers and come in many colors, but some people have said they bleed through, some haven’t. I’ve also heard their tips crack or get pushed down more quickly than other pens so it’s good to keep that in mind.
Zebra Mildliners- I’m not big on highlighters and the only other ones I’ve used are generic store brands and tbh I just don’t understand the hype over these? They bleed through paper and they smudge writing that’s been dry for days. Also I personally find some of eh colors two dark, but a huge plus is having one side as a highlighter and the other as a thin marker so you can underline and draw with the thinner side which is a definite plus.
Short answer- only the stabilos and mildliners bleed through occasionally (but it does depend how hard you write and how thin your paper is too)
I hope it helped and I really recommend reading the reviews on Amazon and seeing how the majority feels about them (that’s what I do before making a purchase :)
hogwarts au!!
!!! let’s do asanoya hogwarts au!!!
Nishinoya is a Gryffindor, loud and brash and bold and fearless and Asahi is a Hufflepuff, kind, hardworking, and devoted ((the Sorting Hat considered Asahi for Gryffindor, but Asahi felt more comfortable in Hufflepuff)) **for the sake of this au let’s put them in the same year too**
Noya and Asahi are paired up together in charms when they meet for the first time. They’re learning Cheering Charms, and Noya doesn’t do the charm right once– but Asahi can’t stop smiling anyway.
They both make their House Quidditch teams. Noya is a Keeper and and Asahi a Chaser. Noya flirts with Asahi and shouts things like “Nice ass number three!” or “Let your hair down, hot-stuff!” until Asahi gets flustered and misses. ((Asahi gets revenge in actually letting his hair down and Noya for some reason has trouble focusing the rest of the match))
Noya and Tanaka go to Zonkos every trip to Hogsmeade, but it’s too loud and chaotic for Asahi so Noya has to hold his hand the whole time. It’s now Noya’s favorite shop and he makes sure they “forget” supplies so they have to go back in. ((sometimes Asahi huddles in Noya’s shoulder and Noya gets goosebumps))
On the sunniest day of the year, Noya leads Asahi outside to meet Tanaka. Noya and Tanaka have a plot to get the Giant Squid to let them ride on his back– They have bubble charms on their heads and wands on their sides when Asahi pleads for him not to go.
Noya chirps something about “Gryffindor Pride” and “his honor being on the line”. His little chest puffed out and his face all distorted in the bubble charm, Asahi swoops down and kisses him and says, “Then at least come back in one piece.”
((Noya doesn’t end up going))
would you ever draw the two gangs in modern style clothing?
I’ve drawn Connie and Carla! :>
Can you recommend any books similar to The Raven Cycle?
I don’t know if anything is quite similar to the premise of dead Welsh kings and angsty prep school boys and streetracing, but the whole ensemble adventure vibe is also present in Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. The whole creepy vibe is present in The Young Elites by Marie Lu. And the premonition of death vibe is present in The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Hope this helps, and happy reading! :)
