tbh i think a lot of the times good messages get swallowed up in anti-"tumblr" or "social media" in general rhetoric?

like i definitely wish i saw more self-care posts that emphasized eating (even if its just like, little snacks, or something 'unhealthy', just to make sure you put food on your tummy) or taking showers or things like that, you know, but i feel like a lot of the time theyre couched in this "TUMBLR only cares about CUTESY BULLSHIT" aggressive rhetoric that is..honestly kind of frightening if yr already in a bad place lmfao

encourage ppl to take care of themselves but dont do it in an angry or aggressive way or throw other kinds of posts (esp bc a lot of those 'uwu' brand mental illness posts are being made by young teens and like..dont shit on how kids cope w their illness basically) under the bus*
