That is a pretty momentous thing for Juggleguy since he’s always been so against non-wired controllers. I’ve always felt people should be allowed to use them, despite potential issues that could arise. GC is pretty heavily the favored choice but if someone feels better with a Wii steering wheel, more power to them.

Big House 7 review

Lots of highlights from Big House 7! I was expecting a lackluster tournament based on it being in the very heart of downtown Detroit. The past two years, there was free parking at the venue, no dense urban areas to have to drive through, and a mall directly across the parking lot for easy food access. This year, I went in knowing there was no free parking within a mile of the venue, everything was on busy downtown streets, and the nearest food was three blocks away and limited in choices.

However, Detroit is kind of a dead city and traffic wasn’t bad, even though the Lions played at home this weekend. We parked a block away and it cost less than what we had been told. Weather was nice so having to walk outside wasn’t an issue (this year). Food was good, although it wasn’t quick since you had to walk fairly far to get any. And the venue itself was ten times better than last year’s. Having everything in one room makes the event feel bigger and means you don’t have to keep walking between rooms to find out what is happening in Melee vs Wii U. 

Also, a Corrin beat Zero 3-0 and made Top 3 HECK YEAH
