   a delighted smile lights up colin’s face as he looks at all of barbara’s little gadgets.  he’s trying to make sense of what it all does, but mostly it’s just fascinating.  his own technical expertise is a lot more...rudimentary.  how to make an engine fire, what makes the inside of a car tic.  this is just a million light years out of his league, but it’s fascinating all the same.  “ so what’s this one do ?? ” he asks curiously, pointing to something with a gently pulsing green light.  if it’s the wifi, he’s gonna be embarrassed.
