A story for @jerrysaltz to appreciate and all of you too! Once upon a time, my Mom said if I was going to be an artist, I needed art lessons. She enrolled me at the Art Associations program for my age group. After one lesson I quit the lessons after I brought home this here glue the foam shapes project. I showed it to my Mom and said, “this is stuff I did back in preschool, I thought we were going to learn how to paint people and use acrylics?” She was so appalled at the low level of project for my age group that she agreed not to waste her money on the lessons as I did a way better job teaching myself and from what I was learning at school in our Art Specials class. I still like what I made as I made sure I did a good job despite hating the primary based project.
