Seul slowly gathered up her things as she had double checked her notes for class and wanted to make sure she had written everything down. She bid goodbye to her friends who left first and was one of the few lagging behind. Seul wasn't in a hurry to leave as this was her last class of the day. She also didn't have work and so today she could just relax for the rest of it. Humming softly, Seul swung her blue tote bag over her shoulder and made her way out of class. Just as she opened the door and stepped outside of the room she was surprised that it had begun to rain. She frown as she hadn't brought an umbrella nor did the forecaster said it was going to rain.
"Seriously?" She mumbled to herself annoyed. "Of all days, it had to be today where I didn't bring my umbrella."
Seul sighed while gazing up at the grey skies and around her. There were no one else around which made her curious as people usually were out and about. Was she the only one that somehow didn't get the memo that it was gonna rain today? She shook the thoughts away as she wondered if she should make a mad dash across campus and chance a little rain before waiting it out inside the library or cafeteria.
"What should I do?" She asked herself while pulling her phone from her bag. "Should I call Yeon to pick me up?"
Seul let out another sigh while putting her phone away. Her sister was probably still at work and so didn't want to bother her about something like this. Absentmindedly staring at the scenery before her Seul wasn't aware that someone had joined her as she was lost in thought. It wasn't until the person got her attention by lightly tapping on her shoulder. Seul jerked upright before facing to her left and saw that it was a male student in her year that she had one class with.
"Oh, sorry, hi." She greeted him sheepishly. "Lim, right?"
Lim smiled as he nodded in confirmation. His gazed turned towards the drizzling scene before him before glancing at Seul again.
"Did you forget to bring an umbrella, perhaps, Seul?" Lim asked Seul as she nodded. "Yeah. Did you?"
He shook his head with a small smile while lifting an umbrella with his left hand.
"Would you like to share it with me?" Lim asked with a soft tone although he had averted his gaze from Seul.
Seul tilted her head out of curiosity. She's only ever spoken to Lim a handful of times and he usually hung out with his friends so she never saw him alone until now. Lim mistaken her silence as rejection and backed away embarrassed.
"Ah, sorry. I didn't mean, well, I wasn't trying..." He trailed off not sure how to express himself.
Seul chuckled at his behavior before clarifying his misunderstanding.
"Sorry, but I was just wondering why you wanted to share your umbrella with me and how come you're not with your friends right now."
"Ah, I just happened to be alone and it's because you don't have an umbrella, too."
Seul regarded Lim curiously with a small smile.
"I'm sure there's more to that though, right?"
Lim let out an embarrassed laugh while facing away from Seul.
"Is it that obvious?"
"Kinda, but it's cute. Do you, perhaps, have a crush on me?"
Lim awkwardly laughed before bringing up the umbrella and opening it to hide his embarrassment at having been caught.
"I don't know when the rain will settled, but if you like I can walk you to the station."
"I would love that. Thank you, Lim."
Seul took him on his offered as Lim held out the umbrella for the both of them to share and to stay underneath together.
