| Oh, How We’ve Grown chapter 1 |
Happy birthday! I hope you have/had/are having an absolutely wonderful day!
Thank you so much!
3, 7, 17 :)
3: name three favorite writersAre we talking fic writers or? I’m picking three fic writers and three conventionally published writers.
Fics: @ursulaismymiddlename, @bovaria, @sebbytrash
Published: Ian McEwan, Douglas Adams, Kaj Korkea-aho
7: early influences on your writing
Oh... I’ve always been the kid that’s been writing stories, silly as they may have been. Super-early, I’d say Astrid Lindgren, who was a Swedish kid’s books author. I’ve read pretty much everything of her. Later, I’ve more and more been inspired and influenced by the amazingly talented fic writers in the fandoms I’ve bounced around in.
17: favorite AU to write
I’ve only done a couple of AUs, but I’m really loving the supernatural AUs that Kati and I have sort of trapped ourselves in. It’s not exactly an AU, but my Sweet Dreams-series will always be close to my heart. And ngl, the myth-take on Chasing Promises has me all kinds of nerd-happy.
| asks for fanfic writers |
How about #1, #3, #12, #27, #38, and it's in there so u gotta come through ok (just kidding, only if you want to! ♥) #45
1. things that inspire you
I think my brain is always in writer/planning mode because I get inspired by almost anything and everything. Lyrics, conversations, books, movies, tv shows (I wrote a whole series based off of a one minute scene from Brooklyn 99). The list goes on and on.
3. name three favorite writers
I don’t know if this question meant fic writers or published writers so I’m going with the latter (because i have far too many faves on this site to choose from).
Pittacus Lore
Jenny Han
David Levithan
12. favorite place to write
On my back porch when it’s raining.
27. best review you ever got
Oh goshhh, I love any and all reviews that people have left on my fics. Seriously. Whether it’s leaving a couple of tags when reblogging my fics, sending me a message or an ask, leaving an ‘I loved it’, or writing something more extensive than that, I get so happy. Feedback of any kind is always appreciated.
38. do you reread your own stories?
Hello yeah I do! 95% of the time. I’m doing it as a way to look for any misspellings or grammar mistakes I missed before posting the story (if I find any errors, I go back in and make corrections). The other 5% of the time, I’ll reread them just because I can. My favorites to reread are Helpless, Satisfied and Toxic. I think those are some of the best fics I’ve ever written.
45. share the synopsis of a story you work on that you haven’t published yet
Okay, so I’m a part of a movie!au challenge and I haven’t started it yet, but I have been trying to plan it out. The movie I picked was ‘A Walk to Remember’ and, if you’ve seen the movie/read the book (like English major Bucky) I don’t think a synopsis is needed.
