Violence Action (2022) ~ Thank you.
🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much for the ask! This is an excerpt from one of my wips, They Called Him Holy (a working title; it’s going to get it’s own intro…uh…soon)
He asked, “Do you fear it?” The lamp he held in his hand trembled, dripping candle wax.
He sat with his back against the damp stone, legs drawn up to his chest where he wound his arms around them. “I don’t,” he replied. A smile, faint and fleeting, lit his lips. “I would make a lovely corpse, don’t you think?” Strands his hair still hung around his face, fine like spider silk.
The abrasion at his temple, sticky with drying blood, had begun to purple. He’d always bruised easily, like soft fruit. Moonlight from the barred window above his head made him glow silver. He looked a little bit mad. A little bit wild. In those finite moments, stretching and pacing forward, he could’ve been both.
Ich weiß nicht was ich fühle, seit ner Zeit, kann nichts machen außer hoffen, es geht irgendwann vorbei.

mm... kinda wish someone’d make a moodboard based on me/my blog
Hi, I saw your request for some "asks", mind if I pitch in?
Well, I usually enjoy worldbuilding "Military / Geopolitics" related things, so I'll ask: What is the largest, most influential "Great Power" of any of your Worlds, and what marks them out that way?
Hi there!
Thank you so much for the ask! I know I have a tendency to seem over-enthused anytime I get one of these in my inboxes (which are kind of few and far between), but I love interacting with other writeblrs, and I’ve got to get my serotonin from somewhere.
A concept I’ve been fiddling with in what I’m going to call the “Holy Powers” series (the first book is They Called Him Holy, as listed in my pinned intro) are the Crown Guard, which are regimented knights assigned to protect royal families all over the continent (at least countries with royal families; they adapt with any given culture). They live like monks, abstain from what they deem “excess” (drinking, sex, gambling etc.), and yes, they are based on the Knights Templar. Where the “Great Power” comes in has to do with one of their chapters, “The Imperial Order of the Holy Crown” (I’m…uh…still workshopping the name), who reside within the continent’s holy city, and fight in the name of its pope-like figure. They’ve waged many a-holy war, and one of the reasons why an average citizen may find a “knight” terrifying (not to mention their torture methods are, to put it lightly, unsound).
i hate that tumblr holiday post they dont even have feliz jueves only me and lev seem to care at all
3, 14, and 18 for the FAN-tastic ask game!
I’m going to do these for, again, They Called Him Holy. I have other WIPs I swear.
3. Assign your WIP a color.
Mourning is a recurring theme in TCHH and, in Enitiya (the fictional country TCHH takes place in) dark blue is a cultural color of mourning. So yeah, probably dark blue.
14. Which character from your WIP becomes the fan favorite?
I’m going to avoid naming specific characters until I get enough motivation to eke out a well and proper WIP intro, but I’ll just say the First Prince for now. Why? Everyone in TCHH is a terrible person but him.
18. What kinds of fics would people write about your WIP?
This. This made me laugh more than I care to admit. Again, avoiding specifics here, but the fics I think people would write about TCHH would be fix-it fics involving a certain pair of Prophets and their doomed romance.
The Ask Game.
💚💙💜 for writer wip ask!!
Ayo, thanks (again) for the ask! I’m going to, once again, do these for They Called Him Holy. Why? Because I’m going through an obsessive phase with it right now.
💚: how long have you been working on it?
Officially since the beginning of February, although it’s something that’d been brewing in my mind for a year or two before.
💙: how has the idea changed between starting it and where it is now?
Oh, boy. The core premise has remained the same (a political-fantasy court-intrigue murder-mystery with ghosts…yup), but, since I like to explore every available avenue possible plot-wise, I’ve done a lot of reshuffling, retooling, and experimenting with certain subplots, characters, and character backgrounds/motivations just to see what works and what doesn’t. The final result? Utter chaos.
💜: where are you in the writing process?
I’m currently in the process of outlining (and maybe still nailing ideas to a board because I’m needlessly extra like that). However, I’ve already written down some excerpts for scenes I’m sure are going to make it into the first draft because I have no impulse control.
