Daniel struggled with the bags of pastries in his arms, trying to fish his keys out of his pocket without dumping cream puffs onto the floor. He turned as he heard footsteps approaching.
“Oh, great,” he said with a relieved smile, unloading the bags onto the stranger. “Hold these for a second, I just have to find my key.”

Marie-Thérèse had been picking at her sandwich for a while now, unable to say whether she liked it. She was a creature of habit and enjoyed having the same type of - usually French - food for most of the time, so anything new and, well, different, needed to be taken in slowly. So, there she was, studying her sandwich like a woman who had never actually seen one when she felt a pair of eyes on her. The blonde looked up with an embarrassed look on her face and rubbed her neck. “Oh, yeah, that must have been entertaining. I’m a child, really,” she admitted and took a bite of the sandwich as if trying to make the point that she was indeed capable of eating it.

“I really need to work on my time management skills, because I could have sworn I’d given myself enough time to finish my tasks, drive home, shower and dress before the party started. Apparently I didn’t.”
“Anyways, I’m here now. Welcome to our home. Thanks so much for dropping by. I’m tuck...I’m not sure if we’ve met yet?”
“I was thinking about doing a little weekly spotlight segment on the show, but since I’m still new around here I have no idea what spots are popular or maybe hidden gems. Any suggestions? Cafes, bars, restaurants, whatever else. Just great places to hang out.”
Ursula sighed as she laid on her bed, playing with the knife she had used earlier to play with Lily. She assumed that Lily would send someone after her so, her room was her getaway. She was surprised she was even to get the knife in the first place being that she killed herself and was supposed to be monitored when in the kitchen. Ursula took a breath as she heard the knocks on the door. She put the knife in her back pocket and made her way to the door. “What could you possibly want?”
