So just cramps all the time, or...?
So I started a new cycle on Kindara when I noticed a lot of cramping. That was 3 weeks ago, and I'm just kind of loosely charting cramps and CF (when I notice it). So far, I've had bad cramping 7 days of the 21 I've logged - and there's no pattern to them. They're not all in a row or in two bursts like a follicular phase and luteal phase would be. Pair this with the fun sleep deprivation associated with Logan being in a leap, and I'm a total cave troll. What even, body? This sucks.

Alriiiight! I’ve read both Fertility Friends’ book about charting and I’ve read most of “take control of your fertility"🕵🏼♀️
🎉I feel like a charting expert by now!🎉
I started charting at 6 DPO last cycle and just now my temps dropped from an average of 36.9-37.10 degrees to about 36.50 so I feel sort of safe that I ovulated last month.
I’ll go full science professor this month - so I’ll be charting CF, BBT and doing OPK’s 💁🏼
Unlike male fetuses, which contain no sperm, female fetuses already possess all the eggs that the newborn child will ever have. What that means, practically speaking, is that when your mother was just a fetus inside her mother, she already had developed all of her eggs, and one of them eventually became you! And if one day you are lucky enough to get pregnant with a girl, imagine being able to look down at your belly and ponder the fact that you are carrying a physical part of your future grandchildren inside of you.
'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' by Toni Weschler
I’m currently reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 20th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health by Toni Weschler and have decided to give charting my basal body temps another try. I’m afraid it will confirm that I’m never ovulating, but I guess knowledge is power, right?
I’m so annoyed right now! :\ lol
I mean, couldn’t it wait, just 2 more days! Agh... TMI:
I have a baptism tomorrow and i’m the godmother and guess what? I just got my period, after 2 months, couldn’t it wait two more freaking days! -.-’ I understand my body knows best and if i had such a long cycle it’s because it had its reasons, i’m guessing stress, because i’ve been really anxious... Anyway... i’m happy too, because that means i can start charting properly and figure out “how i work” and finally start using FAM as a birth control, which i have to say, might be the greatest thing i’ve ever learned about! So yeah, pissed off and slightly happy about it! :)
If you're a person who menstruates, you know that you haven't learned anything about how your reproductive system actually works in school. Chances are your parental figures dropped the ball on this one, too. You aren't learning anything useful in "health" class.
There is an amazing, amazing book that is incredibly helpful. I wish I would have had it as a teenager, but I didn't know it existed until I was already a mother of one in my twenties.
It's called Taking Charge of Your Fertility, by Toni Weschler, M,D.
Just as a warning, the language/pronouns used are cis-centric. That doesn't change the fact that it's an excellent reference/resources.
Read it. Buy it. Get it out of the library. Learn about how your body works and be empowered. It doesn't matter where you fall on the sexual orientation spectrum. It doesn't matter if you don't want kids in the future or want kids in the future, or aren't sure either way. You deserve to have knowledge about your body and this book will help with that.
I never do these dont judge
TTC Survery~ 1. Name of the future mommy to be?Tyler.
2. Name of the future daddy to be? Matt, but the kids call him Seriously.
3. How long has the future parents been together? Like 6 years? Maybe 7?
4. When did you start trying to conceive? A long time ago.
5. What is the hardest part of T.T.C besides the TTW? Losing a pregnancy. Or two. Or three. Or six.
6. What does the future mommy want to have? Girlllllllllll
7. What does the future daddy want to have? I suspect he would enjoy the idea of having a boy BUT I DEMAND MORE GIRLS.
8. Is there a certain month or season you’d like to have the baby in? No, but I really want a 2013 baby.
9. What are you looking forward to most when you are pregnant? Does the heartbeat count? That wont be until like 16-20 weeks.
10. What has been the best thing about the TTC process? My decision to do my cervix project. Honestly though, TTC sucks.
11. Pick out any names yet, for when the big day comes? Big Day? LOLOLOL. I like Nimue for a girl and Torrigan or Sameth for a boy, but Matt and I might honor his father. Or not. Idk. My last one wasn’t named until she was 5 days old.
12. Any certain reason for choosing those names? I never make up names. I love names that sound both strong and elegant, and I believe all of my girls have names that reflect that taste. Nimue is one of the prettiest names I have heard, after a strong woman from Arthurian times. Gwen is way played out. Torrigan is my favorite male character from my favorite book series ever. They say his name only once, at the end of the third book. Sameth is his son. Points if you know the book. I have had my boys name picked out since my first pregnancy.
13. Do you know what T.T.C. stands for? Taking Turns Crying, obviously.
14. What things do you do to check for when your fertile? BBT, OPK, CM.
15. Do you use ovulation tests? You could stop asking the same question.
16. What does the future daddy do to help you with T.T.C. process: He gives me his DNA whenever I demand it of him.
17. How long do you plan on continuing the T.T.C process? Until i successfully carry a pregnancy and eject another loin fruit.
18. Will you consider In-Vitro or any other type of Infertility medicine? I am not paying 10k for invitro.
19. Have you had your pre-conceiving physical? Haaaah.
20.How many children would you like to have? A considerable pile.
21.Have you started buying some baby stuff? I have begun buying newborn diapers but I think that is more to feed a fluff addiction AND THEY ARE DOCTOR WHO RUFFLE DIAPERS DON’T JUDGE.
22.Any books that you’ve read that have been helpful? Taking Charge of Your Fertility. If you are TTC, read it. If you are TTA, read it. If you are WTTC, read it. If you are NTNP, read it.
23.Is your family and friends supportive of deciding to TTC? His family is waiting for him to come to his senses and go home or leave me and his two kids. They will be very irritated to know we are TTC. My mom is cool with it, as long as I don’t get into the gory details. Mostly it’s my other TTC interwebs friends that are supportive. Some people try to be and fail so hard it hurts.
24. Have you made any BIG changes in your life to help you conceive? Errrr what constitutes as “big”? I ordered a genetic test from 23andme and have upped upped my caloric intake. 25.Have you abstained from alcohol and drugs? Never really been a drug person.
26.So if you unfortunately do not conceive, then what? Seriously who made up these questions. What does that even mean? I already have “not conceived”. I have had many cycles of “not conceiving”. I move on to the next cycle. 27.How much longer do you plan on TTC? Until my ovaries shut down the baby factory and my Fallopian tubes scream “NEVER AGAIN, WOMAN.”
28.Are you healthy enough to be pregnant? LOL What an objective statement.
29.Do you really think your ready to be a parent? Definitely not. *cackle*
30.Any advice for other woman out there TTC? What is it with you and punctuation? I have spent this entire survey fixing your random colons, question mark and period combinations.
Anyway, BUY A THERMOMETER. READ TCOYF.
