TJ sees Shane following Ryan with a camera in front of him, he knows he is annoying him, traspassing his personal space as they always do even before the show, and he can’t help but wonder when will they stop following the other around and just walk together.
He sees when Ryan looks back, pretends to be shocked, to be scared and starts to run, Shane laughing as he right away starts to run too. They are children, playing tag in the street and pulling at each other’s metaphorical piggy tails to call their attention instead of just saying, “I have a crush on you.”
When they are closer to him, Ryan passes him and Shane gets to film his face. He rolls his eyes, he is done with these two idiots.
“Are you twelve?” TJ asks, he wonderes if in twelve weeks he’ll see them coming out the same car, going to the same home after work. He wonders if in twelve months he’ll see them announce they are officially living together, hell if Shane keeps looking at Ryan like that, marriage for sure one day.
Wonders if in twelve years he’ll have the chance to see them running around with their children, too. Those will be happy children, he is sure.
He hopes, the moment Shane catches Ryan and they are almost falling into the ground because he just put his long arms around him and Ryan lost his balance, that in the next twelve seconds one of them realizes what everyone else sees.
When they are laughing together and Devon puts a hand on his shoulder, TJ hopes in the next twelve minutes as they are looking at each other like this under the sun, holding hands in silence, one will kiss the other and in twelve days they will have to endure them being a couple.
TJ hopes it happens, and smiles as he walks away with Devon to let them be.
