. I don’t spend days like this shopping (mostly because I’m broke, and my taste in clothing is somewhere between #swapmeat, #tcsurf and #hugoboss), or people easily offended by bathroom humor, or feel that every conversation must be about race, politics, economics, and other serious-real-world subjects. . If I could, I’d be at the beach with half my body in the water - half in the sun. Since, the beaches here suck balls, I prefer chillin’ in front of my grill (and sometimes in front of my consoles, but mostly my grill). . I prefer spending beautiful days like this in the company of people who tell me about the amount of poop their kids produced as babies; with people who enjoy laughing, because they know that constant bitching doesn’t fix anything; I prefer spending days like this in the company of people who love trying new things; love boobies and like to argue about the best quality hotdogs (even though #hebrewnational is the absolute best); people who aren’t ashamed or too good to be nerds about games & comics, while trying to express their excitement in the newest tech in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental and DoD directives. . I prefer the company of real people who show up in life and are proud to be - imperfect. I mean, I would like to spend it on a beach with all my cousins, a few Hawaiian food trucks, and a female Japanese massage therapist, but this’ll do. . I grabbed chicken and three fresh cut filet’s. I decided to make my own BBQ sauce. I wanted something sweet, but with a little kick. So, I mixed ketchup, coconut vinegar, Thai chili peppers, garlic, ginger, coffee, paprika, cayenne pepper, fresh cracked black & white pepper, shoyu, and a fresh cut pineapple. It’s almost like #hulihulichicken, but a quicker version. . For the filets, I used salt, pepper, crushed garlic, a few herbs and a small pinch of cumin. After grilling, I seared them in pan of garlic butter. Cuz, you were right. Thanks! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 . And then...I pooped and wondered if Wolverine ever accidentally cut someone’s boobs with his bone-claws when he was going through puberty. . #mediumrare #grillingseason #BBQ #summertimeeats #steak #foodforthesoul #fatmyselfhappy #filetmignon
