so i finally watched the original dark crystal movie last night and got to have that satisfactory ending I didn't get from the Netflix prequel

you see i watched it first and didn't realize it was a prequel until I saw the 1982 film. But it makes sense because I was already theorizing about it while watching and that Rian is most likely Jen's father ahhh sjahdueuwiw

quite frankly i never thought I'd get into it this much but I decided to give it another try and I'm glad I did. (and definitely not only because the guy I like introduced it to me shwjwwuw I'm not responsible for this).
