Had this silly idea in mind and needed to do it: PAINT YOUR FIZZGIG!!!
Are you super bored and want to paint something silly? Here it is! A silly little fizzgig I drew lazily for your entertainment! Trace them, paint them, make silly costumes... You name it! Just leave the credits and you can do whatever you want with that little guy! X>
The first image has a white BG and the second one has a transparent one. Have fun! I hope that can be at least entertaining for someone X3

But HEY!!! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! (August 11th) And as a gift for myself, I made... MONGRA 2.0! Now, bigger and bendier! He's not ready yet, I need to make the carapace and armor... But hey! It's as good as it gets! XD

But don’t panic! If you want to partake and haven’t got time to make something new, you can submit old artwork or articles, even if it’s already been posted online before!
And if you are working on the artwork or article, and need just a little more time, contact us at [email protected] and we can work something out! If it’s still far too late, don’t worry, there’ll be more zines soon enough!
If you want to submit something, what can you submit?
1. Artworks of all kinds; drawings, traditional, digital, crafts, cosplays, anything!
2. Short SFW fanfiction, any kind, ships, fluff, plot, whatever! We are not currently accepting fics centered around OCs, we have plans for future issues of the zine centered around them.
3. Fan theories, redesigns, and analysis!
4. Tutorials and guides!
5. Links to music or podfics in the form of a QR code!
6. Advertisements for online stores selling fanart!

"who's Mongra?" You ask? He's a skeksis prototype made in 1979 for the previews of the movie. As a prototype that wasn't even a canon character, he doesn't have a lot of stuff about him... So, it's MYYYY mission to make as much Mongra content as I can!

The Podling Tavern is a collective of dedicated fans of Jim Henson’s masterpiece, The Dark Crystal! We run a Discord server and a fanzine! We hope to unite the fan base, and wake our ancient fandom from its long slumber!
Our zine isn’t just an e-zine, we also print physical copies and distribute them in our local communities! You are welcome to print copies of your own and put them wherever you think fans might find them, such as at libraries, collectible stores, and comic stores (with permission from the establishment, of course).
