Tumblr’s Drag Race Charm School Cycle 3 - THE FINALE!
Well, well, well, Analyse Thropic, Dotte Com, Giraffez Doris Buckel and Maya Monet! Welcome to the finale of Tumblr’s Drag Charm School Cycle 3! The past five weeks have tested you in a way that has influenced your growth in Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent and now it’s time to test you one final time!
This test is a little bit more challenging however, as we anticipate the auditions opening for Tumblr’s Drag Race Cycle 9, we want you to produce something of a mock audition!
This is the first time we’re asking for two looks from you all, your first look being Head Girl Homecoming Henny, where you must show us your best gown look that is sure to snatch wigs and crowns (maybe even our Cycle 9 crown too!) Your second look must dance to the tune of your Best Personal Drag, which shows you’ve got what it takes to draguate with the top honours, and earn that spot on Tumblr’s Drag Race Cycle 9!
In addition to these two looks, you’re also going to have to follow through with the mock audition, which features a clip of your runway, a Q&A portion where you’ll be supplied questions from our Co-Deans and Headmistress (of which all will be judging you this week!) A dramatic monologue that depicts your emotional performance capabilities, as if you were performing the original yourself! We also want you to give us your best lipsync, so go bold, move your lips and swing your hips! We advise you all to ask as many questions as you can as we’re expecting you to produce work that proves that you have got what it takes to succeed and be crowned Tumblr’s Next Drag Superstar this cycle.
In your submission, you must include:
A Q&A Video answering all of the questions you receive from our panel
A Monologue of your choice.
A Lipsync of your choice, under 4 minutes please!
A 15 second runway (of each look) filmed in LANDSCAPE
2 pictures of your face, one MUST be facing forward. (per look)
2 pictures of your outfit, HEAD TO TOE, one MUST be facing forward. (Per look)
Your submissions are due for Sunday, 18th December at 9pm EST.
