Taking Down the Enemy || Finchel
With Coach Beiste breathing down his neck, the stress of keeping up with homework, balancing the ups and downs of Call of Duty, and Sectionals coming up, Finn was completely swamped from all the things going on in his life. However, Rachel was right. The most important thing at the moment was gathering up a decent set list for Sectionals. Two of the Warblers had already rubbed him the wrong way, and with the way Rachel was acting he kind of figured they had gotten to her also. His first initial reaction was to drive to Dalton and punch Hunter and Sebastian. But with Mr. Shue being against violence and the potential that that would cost them Sectionals, the only option they had was to prepare the best songs they could. Therefore, with the help of Rachel, Finn was going to make sure The Warblers were taken down.
As Finn waited outside The Lima Bean, his eyes lazily gazed over the patrons inside. He couldn’t help but wonder what actually attracted people to this place. Coffee had never been something that drew him in, and in fact he wasn’t even sure if he had ever tried it. Yet people seemed to flock this place and he had heard that it was a popular hangout for both McKinley and Dalton students. With the two rivals being in the same establishment, he couldn’t believe that a fight hadn’t already taken place. Of course the Glee Club would never initiate a fight. No matter what was thrown their way, they always came out on top by using their best assist which was their voices. That was the one thing Finn really enjoyed about the club. They made him feel welcomed and like family, despite their many different social statuses. That’s why he knew that he couldn’t let them down when it came to competitions. Letting out a small sigh, he tucked his hands into his jean pockets, and averted his eyes to the parking lot for Rachel’s arrival.
