my eretcup headcanon is eret being astonished by how this guy that saved his life treats his own life like. he asks hiccup things about his inventions, berk and himself because haha (twirls hair) he wants to know more about this cute guy but then his flirtint smile and pose gets progressively turned into a frown and then genuine concern because hiccups answers are like:
