I just read the Not-So-Safe-Mental-Jazz Reader ask thing and was curious how would the stories go exactly? Like.. AMitS is pretty.. intense.. already :'D how different would it go? The same goes for TDtLU.
As I said in that specific ask... The way they approach reader is going to be pretty different. AMitS Sans as said before is quite the sadist but... He can’t exactly do that with someone who has a different kind of mental. He certainly can’t scare her or else he won’t get anywhere with her... He’s going to be gentler and will try to downplay the fact that he’s, well... A murderer. He’s still going to try to pull reader to his basement. There was too many people in the subway and reader gets quite restless and anxious, so Sans invites her to his hideout... It’s quiet and hasn’t got many people around... And he’s going to play up the manipulation in keeping her, saying that she wouldn’t like being outside anyways, she doesn’t have to... If reader does want to go outside, he’ll find a way to make it so that his basement doesn’t seem all that bad...
Black (TDtLU) would be different too, instead of kidnapping her when she knows nothing about him from the boat, he’d actually approach her while she’s on the beach, quietly, every time she’s around until she’s used to him, strike up conversation most usually about the sea... She asks him all kinds of questions, from how he works to how he lives to anything else about the sea. And with reader’s draw to the sea.. The more he explains the more reader gets attracted to it- and by extension him, and Black will slowly lure her into living with him, twisting her perception on her current life, masked by his questions about land and what’s going on in her life. The more they talk the more reader thinks the sea is much better, until Black slowly drags her under the water when she agrees to go with him.
Pandemic or otherwise, life must go on. And so, too, enterprise. That said, the pandemic has brought about paradigm shifts in the way work and the workplace shall perform in the future.
