The writing was on the wall. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (TDUSC) was not in a good state to release, but it released anyway. The developers, Kylotonn, went on strike the moment the game dropped due to the poor working conditions with working under Nacon. They're not even the only development studio on strike for Nacon. If you had a keen eye, this was predictable, but it's still a shame that this happened to a beloved franchise. One can only hope that Nacon will give TDUSC the proper support it needs from here on out, but if the pattern with shitty publishers has shown anything, TDUSC is fucked. $50 for this travesty.
I'd would say that the money needed to play TDUSC would be better spent on alternatives, but TDUSC's niche doesn't really have an alternative outside of like, maybe The Crew Motorfest? Maybe people just need to support newer racing games instead of betting on their nostalgia.
