it's just like the pocari scene thing, like, would it have hurt i.g. to just put a pocari instead of a normal bottle? it shows how aomine cares about kuroko just like kuroko cares about aomine, which is what that scene tried to show, it shows that kuroko didn't give up on basketball because of aomine, akashi helped, of course, since he was the one who discovered kuroko's power, but what if aomine hadn't found kuroko? akashi probably would've never noticed kuroko staying late to practice, in fact, kuroko would have given up on it the first time the coach told him to leave. i personally don't ship aokuro but i'm a bit pissed off at the fact they cut out a scene that showed so much, including some of aomine's character development, and the fact that kuroko actually cares about the generation of miracles and doesn't only want to prove them their playing was wrong because it made him suffer, it made him suffer because he cared about them
