💛☀️🌼 Happy Thoughts Tea 🌼☀️💛

This is my go to tea when I’m having a particularly bad morning (or I’ve been having a rough week). It’s a great afternoon tea and taste perfect paired with some yummy homemade lemon cookies. ~ disclaimer ~

Ingredients

☀️ Black tea (loose or bag) - simulates your conscious mind which may help aid in clearing mental blockages.

☀️ 1 orange slice - promotes happiness

☀️ A few blueberries - protection from negative energy and thoughts 

☀️ 1 strawberry (sliced) - attracts luck and positive energy 

☀️ A teaspoon of honey - to bind your intentions and to ‘sweeten’ your current situation and mood

How I Make It

💛 I like just putting all my fresh fruits (and honey) in after the tea has done steeping for a few minutes. Something about actually seeing the bright colorful fruits in my tea adds to the happy feeling the tea itself gives me.

💛 But if you don’t like little bits floating around in your tea you could put the tea bag and the fruit together and steep them at the same time. Allow it to steep for at least 10 minutes, then strain out the fruit.

💛 You could also make a bigger patch of this tea and drink it cold. Though i would suggest just steeping the fruit and tea together and then straining out the fruit first before storing it in your fridge.

Helping tooth pain/ tooth decay by using herbs 🌱🌿🍃🍵

Sage: the tea can be used as a mouthwash to heal bleeding gums and soothe the mouth. ( I personally used ground sage in a tea bag and let it sit for a few minutes then used it as a mouth wash for my cavity that’s been. Hurting a small bit of my gums and it’s dullened the pain)

Alder: A tea can be made from the bark to treat tooth aches

Aztec sweet herb: tea made from the leaves can be made to fight tooth decay

Clove: A few drops of Clove oil on a painful tooth will relieve pain.

Fig: The soft pulp of a roasted fig can be used as a poultice to treat dental diseases

Gardenia: the leaves made as tea or a mouthwash can relieve toothache

Manzanita: chewing on the leaves helps prevent tooth decay

Marjoram: Soak two tablespoons of dried leaves in a pint (two cups) of water over night to make a mouthwash that will clear up infections. Chewing on fresh leaves will ease the pain from a toothache.

Tip:

When making tea potions, use cinnamon STICKS not powder, it makes the potion soggy and too spicy

What you’ll need:

Black tea for: stability, strength and expelling negative energy

Herbs you’ll need:

🌱Lemon balm for: healing, compassion, endings (of negative things) , happiness, love, mental health and success

🍶Cinnamon for: power, spirituality, protection (from negativity), fortune and healing

Steps

⭐️ Brew tea however you like

⭐️ Add in lemon balm stirring clockwise to promote positivity and focus on your heart releasing negativity

⭐️ Add in cinnamon (as much as you see fit) and stir clockwise to promote positivity and activate your tea potion while focusing on your mind releasing negativity

⭐️ Breathe in the steam through your nose so it goes to your brain for calming , then breathe in the steam through your mouth to go to your heart for protection against anymore hurt

⭐️ Feel free to add sugar and milk/cream if you so desire

🔮Note: potion only lasts for a day as your body will rid of it within a day🔮

🕯TIP: bring potion in a thermo mug to school/work ect. And drink it there to calm you🕯
