Personalized Wolfkin Tea Request

@dinodotscreations won my 500 followers tea request raffle!! Here goes nothing!! 

To start with, I really wanted to give you something that matched your eyes, so try this Amber tea. Its got a mix of pu-erh and oolong, which means there is a real earthy tea, and a sort of fruity tea, that will taste really nice. It’s also got almonds and cinnamon, and should be a really smooth, robust tea. 

Secondly, have this Snow Tea. It’s just a plain white tea, so it will be a little but more expensive, but the delicate, light taste was something I really wanted to include for your memories of snow. White tea has a VERY specific boiling temperature of 170 degrees, which is about when you first hear the tea kettle start to make bubbling noise. Just be careful, because otherwise you will not get the correct flavor. 

Finally, have this Wild Berry Zinger Tea by Celestial Seasonings. Celestial Seasonings has some really great teas, and I knew I wanted to include something from them because their name has the night in it. Also, there is more berries than your heart could desire in this tea blend, so hopefully it reminds you of some of the berries!

Neopolitan (RWBY) Kin Tea Request

My darling friend @standing-in-the-starlight won my tea request raffle, and asked for a fiction kintype of theirs: Neo from Rwby! (Well, I kind of suggested it...) I hope I do well! 

First up, a Neapolitan tea blend!! I don’t think I could get more literal than this, but hey, it works, right! This tea has got strawberry chunks, chocolate tea, and vanilla oolong, so it is sure to be tasty!! (Side note, vanilla oolong is like, super good so... It’s going to be a good tea.)

Secondly, try this Vanilla Berry Truffle tea! It’s got tangy hibiscus and honeybush, as well as roobios and white chocolate. Strong yet sweet, just like you!! The name also reminds me of your sophisticated look! 

Next, try the Orange and Spice Herbal blend! You are going to laugh so hard at my reasoning here, but I am adding it because of Roman. I know how much you miss him, and I thought that the sharp citrus and spices might reflect some of his character, and the orange reminded me of his hair. Silly reason, I know, but maybe it might help ease some of your loneliness sometimes. 

Finally, try this Lavender Earl Grey. Lavender earl grey is a super amazing tea blend that I really enjoy, and it just reminds me of you now, because you are so gentle and sweet to me, and I appreciate it to much. So thank you.

TEA REQUESTS ARE CLOSED FOR THE NEAR FUTURE

I’m in a really rough place mentally and since I do these all on my own and put so much darn effort into it, I really can’t take them. I have three right now (one from like a month ago. So if you sent one a while ago I got it, I just haven’t done it) and will try very hard to do them. It won’t be my usual though, probably just a few links with no explanation, and that might take a few weeks too. I feel really bad about this, and I’m so sorry to those who requested, but I just can’t put my usual effort into it right now. When I feel better, I will do my best to start them up again.

Mediterranean Mermaid Tea Request

@feedmegravel asked for a Mediterranean mermaid, who likes cinnamon, and thank you for that, because I could use an easy one every once in a while!! ;) I focused on fruits that grow in that region, which hopefully works for you! (Also, I can’t tag you for some reason? Weird...)

First, try a White Pomegranate Tea. Good iced or hot, sweetened or not, this tea combines white peony with pomegranate, hibiscus and rosemary. Both peonies and pomegranates contain many antioxidants, which is always helpful, human or mermaid. And it’s organic. What’s not to love? 

Secondly, try this Mediterranean White Tea, which is a light, fresh, and delicious tea that is also good hot or iced. It’s supposed to be really good with Mediterranean foods, with lemon, mint, and cucumber! Now, I’ve never had a cucumber tea, but I’d sure be wilingl to try it! I do like cucumber water, and this is likely not very different! 

Finally, try this Pear and Cinnamon Strudel Tea! While I’m not sure mermaids eat strudel, I know that pears are a part of the traditional Mediterranean diet! Plus, cinnamon for you!! This is a desert tea, but I always find that when they say “desert tea,” they really mean, “Sweet, decadent, and perfect for a bad day tea,” and trust me, it’s always a good idea to keep a desert tea or two around for those low moments. Mine is a gummi bear tea from a local tea house, and maybe yours can be this!

Shadow Person, Ghostkin Tea Request

Anonymous asked for a Shadow person, ghostkin tea request! I’m not sure whether you intended for this to be two separate requests, one for a shadowkin and another for a ghostkin, or as one for a shadowy ghost, so I’m going to do one for each. Hopefully that way, I hit the mark no matter what!! 

For the Shadow aspect, I’ve picked out a Dark Chocolate Black Tea! This tea is really simple, and will taste exactly like what it sounds like. Expect rich, delectable dark chocolate and loads of punch. The seller recommends you take it with milk, which, to me, sounds like it’s going to taste like hot chocolate, but tea version. Which sounds fantastic? Who wouldn’t want the less calories and all the health benefits of black tea instead of sugary hot chocolate?

For the ghostkin bit, I’ve picked out a Lily Flower Tea. Lilies are the flower that is most commonly associated with death and funerals. They represent the innocence that has been restored to the departed soul, and the white color itself is reminiscent of the soul. The tea itself is very floral and aromatic and is sure to taste delicious! It also has many health properties, including clearing your skin and helping with colds! 

For the combination tea, I’ve decided to leave you this Pomegranate Black Tea, just like the Egyptians would leave pomegranates for their dead. Pomegranates also remind me of Persephone, the Greek goddess and wife of the god of the Underworld, Hades. They also have many antioxidant and other properties that will help take care of your living body when you don’t feel like you can. Hopefully the black tea will help meet the shadow part too!

Tea requests open!!

Hey you guys know that tea requests are still open right? If you send me your kintype, I can give you three or four specific teas with links to buy them! If you send me a fictionkin type then I will either need to know them already, or you'd need to tell me about them. Tea requests can be specified to your life if you send me specifics!! (As in, you can tell me about yourself and not just say "dragonkin". This is preferred actually. ) Send me requests!!!

Mermaidkin Tea Request

Anon asked for a mermaidkin tea! I’ve got to admit that I balked a little at getting another water based request, but I think I’m doing alright with them, right? Since you didn’t give me any specifics, I’ve done it for a tropical mermaid. If that’s not what you wanted, just let me know, and I’ll try again!! 

The most obvious tea I could think of for a tropical mermaid was a coconut tea. So I found this really delicious sounding Coconut Tea blend, with sweet and creamy coconut blending seamlessly with the black tea base. It sounded simple and fresh, which I thought was more important to this request than a complex, layered coconut tea. 

Sticking with the tropical theme, I decided to give you a Mango Fruit Tea. This blend also has hibiscus, rose hips, and orange peels, and turns the water a brilliant cherry red. Light, flavorful, and colorful. Perfect for a mermaid. I’d like to make a note that this tea is slightly more expensive than the ones I usually give, but that’s because it is from Harney and Sons, one of the best tea brands I’ve ever had, and I can guarantee stellar quality. It’s still not super expensive, I just thought I’d let you know. 

And finally, what might just be the greatest tea I have ever found it’s: Color Changing Bluechai Tea!! Yea, you read that right. This tea is BLUE!!! It also turns PINK if you add lemon!! HOLY CRAP RIGHT?! I’ve done a bunch of reading on the site to make sure the tea is still healthy and tastes good, and it all seems pretty great? No chemicals or food dyes, because it’s all natural, and it tastes like a green tea, with no caffeine? It also comes in organic, wooden containers that are completely eco-friendly and can be completely decomposed? It all seems pretty awesome, and I’m totally getting myself some of this stuff! It also works great for a mermaid of any types, because in case you missed it, it’s BRIGHT BLUE!!! Here’s their about page if you want to learn more!
