Personalized Wolfkin Tea Request

@dinodotscreations won my 500 followers tea request raffle!! Here goes nothing!! 

To start with, I really wanted to give you something that matched your eyes, so try this Amber tea. Its got a mix of pu-erh and oolong, which means there is a real earthy tea, and a sort of fruity tea, that will taste really nice. It’s also got almonds and cinnamon, and should be a really smooth, robust tea. 

Secondly, have this Snow Tea. It’s just a plain white tea, so it will be a little but more expensive, but the delicate, light taste was something I really wanted to include for your memories of snow. White tea has a VERY specific boiling temperature of 170 degrees, which is about when you first hear the tea kettle start to make bubbling noise. Just be careful, because otherwise you will not get the correct flavor. 

Finally, have this Wild Berry Zinger Tea by Celestial Seasonings. Celestial Seasonings has some really great teas, and I knew I wanted to include something from them because their name has the night in it. Also, there is more berries than your heart could desire in this tea blend, so hopefully it reminds you of some of the berries!

@lokifruitsalad gave me a whole list of teas that they like, but since they don’t label themselves with any kintype, I don’t have much to say about the teas? So I’m just going to give you a few of my favorites and stuff I find around in a list! 

Passion Herbal Tea: This is one of my favorite teas in this world I think. It’s bright pink, slightly sour, and has that hibiscus you like! If you add lemonade, it tastes like exactly like Starbucks Passion Tango tea lemonade, because, here’s a little secret, it’s the same brand!! 

Speaking of Tazo, here is another delicious hibiscus blend called the Egyptian Ruby Herbal Tea, with some pineapple for sour, and some peppermint for fun ! 

For more sour, have some Citrus Lavender Sage Herbal Tea! I know herbal teas weren’t high on your list, but trust me when I say that this tea will taste more citrus than herbal, with zesty pineapple, apple, and orange balancing nicely with sage, lavender, and sea buckthorn. 

And finally, have a Dragonfruit Devotion Tea Blend! Full of tropical flavors and deliciousness, I’m sure you will love it!

Personalized Tea Request

Anon asked for teas for a sea slug god who is gothic and powerful and doesn’t like lavender! I hope I do well! 

First, I wanted to hit the god aspect, as I know it’s important to respect that, so try this Hand of God tea blend. It’s got fruit, jasmine, and plenty of antioxidants to keep your body living long! I wasn’t able to find anything specific to you being a sea slug god, and I apologize for that, so hopefully this will do.

 A second god related tea to make up for not finding a sea slug related tea is this Pu Erh Bold Leaf tea. Pu Erh teas are often earthy like slugs, and the bold made me think of power! If you wish for a more powerful tea, take any tea blend and steep it to the latter end of the recommended brewing time for a stronger tea! 

Finally, I’ve picked out this Edgar Allen Poe’s Black Tea blend. I’ve personally had these tea blends (I believe the Lewis Carroll one), and they are really good. I figured that Edgar Allen Poe is pretty gothic, with his macabre and slightly disturbing stories. The tea is earthy and smoky, with a taste of citrus for fun. I really think you will enjoy this! Also, here is a cool tea pot set I found that you might like!

Personalized Tea Request

Anon asked for teas for a burnt out phoenix that fell into the ocean and dreams of flying again! I’m sorry for the wait, and I hope I do okay!!

First, let me say I relate so much to wanting to fly again. Like, so, so much. So, the first tea I picked was this Emperor’s Clouds and Mist tea. It is cultivated at high elevations of 3,500 feet! If that’s not as close to flying as a tea can get, then I don’t know what is! Also, the taste changes from smoky, to slightly sweet, which I thought was nice for a phoenix that burns up, only to become a sweet bird. 

Second, I’ve got a Phoenix White Leaf Oolong Tea! I’m going to be honest, but I was on this site because the store name is bird related, but then I saw this, and was so excited!! This tea is sweet and dry, with fruity notes and a smooth finish. Even though I don’t like oolong tea, It sounds pretty good! 

Lastly, I thought I’d get you a Cinnamon Green Tea! This tea is actually a Ceylon tea, which is cultivated at low altitudes between sea level and 2000 feet in Sri Lanka. I thought maybe the low altitudes could connect to the falling, especially since I gave you the high altitude tea too. I find cinnamon also gives me a bit of a burning sensation in my mouth, but that might just be me!

Personalized Tea Requests

@ghost-guro asked for teas for a ghost who lived by the sea and drowned, who needed the sensation of drowning to feel alive, got scared often, and also liked strawberries. Fruity teas were requested!

The first thing I wanted to hit upon was the ocean and the sensation of drowning, as that seemed important to you. But I was having some difficulties finding anything related to the ocean other than coconuts, as you never said where you drowned (If it does interest you, here’s a Ginger Coconut tea!). So, I decided to go with water as a whole instead. Any tea steeped for the bare minimum of what is suggested will taste fainter, giving you a stronger watery taste. But that’s not good enough for me. So I found the Be Still White Tea. 

Now, I have absolutely no experience with brewing white tea, but I know that it MUST be boiled to 170 degrees: any higher will burn the tea and make it taste really bad. So unless you have an electric kettle, this might be difficult to brew, which is why I’m hesitant to include it. White tea is also fairly expensive. However, the raspberry notes, ghost-y name, and subtlety makes me leave it here. White tea is definitely worth the extra cost and challenges of brewing, so if you have the time, you really should try some.

Keeping with the ghost-y names, I picked out the Dead Faint Tea from Adagio Teas. This blend is full of calming ingredients such as lemon balm, chamomile, and peppermint, and should also be fairly faint tasting like most herbal teas, which again, will give you the water element. 

Call me a silly East Coast resident, but when you said you lived by the ocean and liked strawberries, my mind instantly went to strawberry lemonade. And guess what? They’ve got a tea for that! This tea says it is herbal, but the strawberry, citrus, and apples should make it taste much more like fruit than herbs. I also thought I’d include Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler, just in case you’d be interested in trying some new fruity teas.
