Chapter 8: The Mad Tea Party

I plan on making the character bio’s more like illustrated pages from the book, but with its own writing and look. Instead of a bio that tells you how they act, I’m gonna write a scene that’s both entertaining and explains the characters at the same time.

So, I have a problem. It's a very big problem. I just got granted access to Adagio Tea's bulk website. I can buy tea by the pound. Pounds of tea that cost ~$9 a lb. God help me.

So a tea shop in ballard is really interested in me baking tea-based pastries for them. I'm super excited about this because I get to do my two favorite things, bake and enjoy tea. Right now I'm writing up recipes for myself so they're all in one place and, excuse me while I toot my own horn, dayum do they sound delicious. I just want to make this stuff all day and hopefully that's what I'll end up doing. If this works out well, I may make it into a brand. That would be cool. What would I call it...

(Also I am very upset with the way she made the tea. Like... the tea bag should be in the cup when you pour water over it, shouldn't it? And they drank it so fast like hello that shit was supposed to be boiling hot??? Unless she didn't boil the water properly in which case it's not proper tea??? TEA!!)
