Hello! I just saw a picture of a lovely headband you had made with short deer antlers and I wanted to ask what you made the antler pieces out of? I've got a party coming up this weekend and I'd really like to make something along the lines of what you did.

You’ll need a good, sturdy handband as a base - and you’re going to need metal wire to make a small base for the little antlers. Mark te parts where the antlers are going to be and wrp your wire parts around those places into the shape you want them to be. Make sure they don’t move on your headband!!!

Now, you’re going to need good clay - I used a special clay used for making puppets. You can find it in craftstores, it’s a lightweight kind of clay which you can sand after using it. Now you can start sculpting the antlers around your wire bases. c; make them in whatever shape your size you like.

After letting them dry completely - sand them, or add another layer of clay to cover up tiny cracks that may have formed. After that you can start painting them.

Get some nice ribbons, fake flowers, studs etc. (make sure you have a nice looking color scheme!!) I usually wrap a long ribbon around the headband to cover up the base of the antlers. (hot)glue everything on and let it dry for a long time. It’s that easy! ;w;

One time I spent the night with my friend and I forgot that her parents get up reeeally early so when I woke up the next day I went into the kitchen to get some water and didn't expect anyone to be up but just as I took a huge gulp of water her dad singsonged "GOODMORING EMILY" and I almost choked (does this work as an interesting fact??)
