Baby #yueguangbai resting after the #firstbrew. It has the tenderness of a #wildlife #baby meant to grow big and great, as written in the stars - or should I say, in the #moonlightwhite - and in its #ancienttree DNA. 🍃 Loved the infusion, infusions actually (7..8... and more); my #2yo #teaapprentice joined me on the 5th, and together we travelled up until the 8th. 🍃 If left to cool, this superb #firstflush2017 #whitetea tastes even more refreshing and pleasant. 🍃 Compliments and a huge #thankyou @eastern.leaves!

Yan Cha season will soon be upon us! Did you know that though True Cliff Yan Chas are usually harvested in May, the actual roasting doesn't happen until summer, and the final tea doesn't come out till fall or early winter? Manning the charcoal pits is the first job a Yan Cha apprentice learn to master, keeping the charcoal ash free of smoke and burning for at least 10 days straight!
