Teach at Paideia 2k19, January 19–27!
A word from the czars:
Why did you decide to come to Reed?
It likely has something to do with a love of learning, pushing yourself intellectually to the frayed edges of knowledge, and a drive to let your freak flag fly. For this year's Paideia we have the chance to bring all the hopes of a stress-free, compelling, intellectual community of self-expression to fruition. We have funds, space, and support to put on whatever projects, classes, or experiments Reed's students, staff, or alumni feel are important or fun enough to be shared. But we need a little initiative—apply to teach a class by submitting online. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7.
Classes can be taught solo, pairs, groups, be multi-day or meet once, and the possibilities are endless-- years past have seen lessons on didgeridoo, laser tag, beekeeping, ASL, the future of the world...you name it. If you know how to do something cool or have had a cool experience, share it-- I've always believed that the true value of Reed comes from the curiosity and drive of the students here. More info can be found Here. Or email your Paideia Czars at [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any questions.
Best,
David & Liv
