Ungrateful monkeys

I'm a teacher at a primary school and at the moment I give lessons to six and seven year olds. Today I overheard this conversation between kids that were playing in the hallway.

They are pretending to be a teacher and two students.

Kid 1 (student): I'm not going to listen to you.

Kid 2 (student): yeah, we're not doing what you tell us to do.

They immediately start laughing and rolling around on the floor.

Kid 3 (teacher): *screams* SIT DOWN, YOU TWO UNGRATEFUL MONKEYS.

And if that doesn't describe my mood sometimes, idk what is.

As an educator, I’ll be using today to share resources I’ve used in my classroom.
