I just accidentally stumbled into Teachertok, why is so much of it about decorating classroom? I have never seen a decorated classroom in my entire life, the only thing that is sometimes in a classroom is like stickers or drawings in elementary classrooms, no?

Like what are these things like decorated classrooms and first day gifts, hello?

Another thing is kindergarten teacherrooms? We kinda just had 2 groups and spend one half of the day in 1 room, the other in another room, but again, it wasn't decorated or smth?

We just kinda had a few desks and a carpet, nothing else

Also we had like this metal column in one of the rooms that I used to just run into repeatedly and that was like the most fun I had there

(Might've given my parents problems w that bcs the kindergarten called my parents about sending me to a psychiatrist because I didn't cry after running into it headfirst)
