Good news! I finally finished my student teaching last Thursday. My teaching certificate should be coming in the mail in a few weeks. My final week was spent doing observations in other classrooms. I loved getting the opportunity to see and takes notes on the ways other teachers are teaching their students. My mentor teacher wasn't the best instructor (he did a pretty terrible job communicating with me) but I was grateful for the support I got from the other teachers I worked with. They were very kind and helpful.

I don't know what's next for me. For now I will apply for some History jobs and Teaching jobs to see what I can get. Would love to go back for a Master's in Tudor History but that may have to wait.

So this is a thing that came in the mail today. (4 certifications complete and 4 that will be done by the end of the summer! I’M BOARD-CERTIFIED OFFICIAL, PEOPLE!)

Good news I finally completed my NES Subtest II or my Mathematics and Science Exam through the State two weeks ago. I found out I passed right away but had to wait until last Friday to get my test scores back. I sent them into my University and now am waiting for them to be posted so my Teaching Certificate can be ordered from my state's public education office.

This means I will have my Master's Degree in hand soon. So excited! I am finally done with my Teaching Program!

Waiting has been hard but I have been applying for a lot of jobs in the meantime. I had my first interview today and was offered a History teacher job. Unfortunately, it is only part-time so I am going to wait to accept it until I find out whether I can get something better.
