🙄🙄🙄🙄 This is exactly what I mean when I say the world is terrible. If people think the world is "pretty decent" explain to me how you think it's ok that children across the world are being forced to supress their natural thoughts to conform with anothers "ideal society". We should all be free, forward thinking individuals. How are we meant to do that when the school system GUIDES US through what some people deem their ideal.
There is so much going on in this world that is wrong and people don't even realise because they are so wrapped up in their own bubble they THINK everything is good.
Would it be the case if you were one of the victims of one of the mass shootings taking place across the world on a regular basis? What if it was your home that was being destroyed around you as you simply tried to exist?
I am so happy and proud about the radical action younger generations are taking to make a stance towards climate change. But as a society we need to make a radical change in our perception of what is important before we can make the changes neccesary to benefit our planet. Discrimination is plaguing our planet and prohibiting this change.
Free thinking should not be a crime or penalised or avoided in any way. We have bigger things to focus on.
Rant over. I just needed to vent. Cba with small minded people who are so unaware of what is happening in the world. The world is not "pretty decent".
