Thickly swallowing her nerves, Anna's eyes darted from the man to her side, to the mistletoe hanging directly above them. A million different scenarios began to dance around in the back of her mind, all of which could end in utter disaster, something she had grown accustomed to over the years, but this time she wanted to get it right. She hoped it would go right.

Her past relationships hadn't exactly gone according to plan, her first being a complete traumatizing asshole, so her emotions were always on edge. No wall had ever came between herself and those she cared for (save for one door), she was quite the open book after-all, but one could say Anna had soldiers forever keeping watch of her heart.

What if she was wrong about this...again? Could she really go through that turmoil again? Was it too soon? Did she misread his signals? Maybe he would be offended?!

........but what was life without a little bit of risk? Sometimes, you just have to take the leap and move forward.

Before another word could be said between them, Anna leaned towards Ezreal, her lips tenderly pressing on the corner of his before she pulled back, her face completely flushed at what she had just done, pointing up at the hanging mistletoe.

"Thank you, you know, for coming with me to the company Christmas party. I know you were invited anyways since you're a brand marketer now but you came with me instead of us just meeting here and- never mind. Just....thank you. For that and and... for everything else."

          sparing a glance down at her hand, the red jade knife fit perfectly within her palm, its stone glistening within the lighting of the room. biting down upon her lower lip, she could not help but feel a wave of slight embarrassment, as she had forgotten that company was expected. but did he really think she was that scary ? after all it was just one of her emotional support knives, one that was part of a matching set, though the other was with sizhui on his business trip.

          she did not think that she was scary enough to be nervous around. sure she could be a bit overprotective and ready to fight should the situation call for it, but she knew that anna was happy and he was the one who was making her happy. so why would she hurt him ?     ❝  𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒂 had last minuet business meeting to attend to, she will be here later tonight.  ❞    once she was done cleaning she got up from her seat, bowing to him a little before motioning for him to sit.

The woman spoke softly to the musician, unable to stand still or attempt conversation while she was taking his measurements. Truthfully, while the woman didn't mind an attempt to strike up a conversation, there was a time and place for professionalism. Carefully, the measuring tape was held with her thumb as she attempted to write down her findings on the notepad on her hip.

The first things she knew about him were only surface level. That he was handsome, charismatic (at least to her), and had an amazing singing voice. He dressed well and very much seemed to match her vibe on social media and in interviews. All those things (and his dog) were what she was first attracted to.

After getting to know him though it was everything else. His personality. He's such a good and beautiful person to her. his soul SINGS to hers. he's loving. generous. kind. loyal. how thoughtful he is. how romantic he is. the little looks he gives her like she's his entire world.

Anna's normally pristine and freckled features were scrunched up and tinted a red shade of red as she furiously pressed away at the buttons of her game controller, aggravated that yet another person had passed her on the race track.

"Oh come on! That's so not fair! You can't just gang up on me like that.", she vented into the microphone, ignoring the sounds of laughter coming from the headset. She had been at the game for hours it seemed and making very little progress in the tournament. But the young woman was determined to at least place somewhere in the Top 10! So engrossed was the woman that she hadn't even realized, someone had unexpectedly entered her rec room.

Just as Anna was about to lash out at the game again, the intruder peered over her shoulder and before she even had the chance to react, his lips pressed firmly against hers. The familiar taste made her instantly fall into relaxation, the frustrations of the race becoming insignificant and no longer worth her time and effort. There were other priorities at hand.

"Gotta go; boyfriend's back!", Anna exclaimed, throwing her controller to the side and immediately flinging her arms around the man.

heating  and  blankets  are  not  nearly  strong  enough  against  the  storm  behind  the  windows;  streetlamps  invisible  through  the  dark  courtain  of  swarms  of  snowflakes.

luxanna  plans  on  making  hot  tea  —  the  fancy  kind  with  all  sort  of  fruit  and  syroups,  but  upon  her  attempt  at  getting  up,  ezreal's  arms  wrap  around  her  and  pull  her  closer,  caging  her  barely  tinier  frame.

she  gives  up  easily,  does  not  put  on  a  fight  —  ezreal  can  be  victorious  this  time.  he's  always  so  warm  —  not  only  physically,  but  his  presence  alone  lights  up  the  room  and  makes  other  feel  welcome.

it's  exactly  like  this  —  luxanna  feels  more  than  welcome  nestled  beside  the  teal - haired  popstar.  she  shifts  just  barely,  to  make  herself  comfortable,  and  curls  up  underneath  ez's  arm.

like  this,  with  him,  it  feels  like  there  is  nothing  in  the  world  to  worry  about.

With her suitcase in tow, Anna strolled into the resort lobby, taken aback by the grand splendor of things before returning her focus to her phone, fingers texting away. It wasn't often that she was able to get a week off from work, but Elsa was kind enough to step in and let the young CEO have a much needed break with a certain someone, who clearly was not where he was supposed to be.

[Anna]: SOS! Where r u?!

She sighed, silently wondering if Ezreal was on break as well or if their small vacation would be filled with his press meetings and fan signings. Either way, she was determined not to waste a moment of these stolen moments.
