Atlantis Kicks Off Spring Issue Release
Atlantis, UNCW's creative magazine, hosted a release party of their Spring 2013 issue at the Calico Room in Downtown Wilmington on April 11. The event featured bands such as Brother and the Harmony, Most Golden, and Clouds Make Shapes, as well as VJ super group Horse Computer and recurring Freaker raffles.

Polar Plunge
Pi Kappa Alpha's 4th annual Polar Plunge was held Sunday, February 24th at Wrightsville Beach. UNCW students and Wilmington community members shivered in the cold water for as long as possible to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness.

15th Annual Port City Step Show
The 15th Annual Port City Step Show took place this past Friday, February 15th in Kenan Auditorium Performers included Delta Sigma Theta Sorority from UNCW, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity from FSU, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity from UNCP, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority from Virginia Tech. The Alpha Phi Alphas took home first place after a quick appearance by The Spiff Kidz and audience strolling.

UNCW Literary Alliance Zombie Walk
Members of the UNCW Literary Alliance celebrated a belated Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 15 by participating in a zombie walk. The group handed out Valentine’s candy to students in Morton Hall and on Chancellor’s Walk.
