Rewatching the pilot (for the millionth time), I really appreciate the hell out of the scene of Kurt, Tash and Reade at the raid in Kentucky. It's the first time we see them together. Watching it now, knowing what we know, just reaffirms how good of a team they are.
There's also growly, badass Kurt Weller, so.

for all its faults, teen wolf is still a good means of introducing concepts like feminism to beginners such as my little friends from my grandma's hometown. it was so wonderful to see them -- all of them, not just the girls -- see the pretty girls be allowed to do more than just be pretty. at first they were rather confused but the end results were FANTASTIC
